Saw this persons thread on Twitter and I have the same feelings of chapter 431 to. Happy that more people are agreeing that it isn’t a bad chapter and concludes the Izuocha subplot well.

@threads-of-light asked:
"Heyyyyy, Tevis!" Cayde saunters up and wraps his arms around Tevis' shoulders, "You uh-- you wouldn't happen to have that thing? Y'know, the thingamajig that we were supposed to take back to Andal? 'Cause I checked my pockets 'n'...'s not there."
Tevis stiffens when the other’s arms wrap around him, then he pinches the bridge of his nose with a deep sigh. ❝ I am going to murder you... Are you sure you didn’t miss any pocket? ❞
Bird Brain | Toby and Quant
The battle at the citadel had been exhausting, and after being invited to return with Toby to the relative safety of the first floor and his room at the inn, they gratefully accepted. The first floor seemed tame after everything Quant had experienced. Battling shadow figures hadn’t been on their bucket list.
The inn felt cozy, but as soon as Toby opened the door to his room, something shot across their vision, startling them. Quant jumped back and looked to the other human for an explanation. “What was that?” It took a moment for them to settle and realize that the creature was a pet, but once they did, they laughed. “So you got yourself a bird? Does it make it feel more like home now?”

@babydxhl | well, hello there
“ sorry! didn’t mean to intrude. i- honestly, i’m- not exactly sure where i am, this is my first time in gotham. ” grace feels unnerved as she stares at this... girl, and she can’t place exactly WHY. like she’s looking at someone through a bottle of water. she blinks several times, wondering if she should ask where the girl’s p a r e n t s are. but... surely they’re close by? they wouldn’t leave their daughter alone in an office?
who are we | Kaden and Zachary
Although he was gradually becoming more used to the sensations of having magic constantly circulating through his system it was still something Zachary didn’t know how to control. He hadn’t tried any spells since the blizzard. And that hadn’t even been him really. He didn’t feel comfortable with it. Perhaps that was why Andrew had gotten rid of his magic. It made Zachary self-conscious like his skin itched with it. He had spent the afternoon in his apartment finally unpacking. Gradually he could feel a pull inside him. There was a firm metaphysical grasp on him, or rather something in him. The tugging sensation grew and with it so did the pain. Something had a hold on his energy. Physically he began to feel nauseous and shaky. The powerful draw continued. His strength gave out and he collapsed. The next morning he woke up with the worst hangover. A magical hangover, he realized. He was weak and drained but he knew he needed to seek help.
Using what power he could barely channel he cast a tracking spell. It was one he could remember from the other Zachary. That version of himself had been a warlock far longer than he had. He followed the path only he could see to the one person he knew could answer his questions.
Zachary hesitated outside the apartment door. He felt ill but whatever this was wasn’t something a normal physician could help him with. He knocked softly. When the door opened he was relieved to see his sister again. He instantly just wanted to hug her. He hadn’t realized yet how pale he was or seen the shadows beneath his eyes. “Kaden, hey,” He greeted her softly, “I’m sorry for dropping in on you like this and I know it’s been eight years -- Unless you want to count the other you but that doesn’t seem fair -- but I wasn’t sure where else to go.” He rambled nervously. “Something happened and I’m not sure what but whatever it was really did a number on me and I feel like I’m just drained of life. Am I a zombie? Please don’t tell me zombies are a supernatural thing now... Uh.” His rambling betrayed his nerves and he fumbled to a stop.

@fireteam-silent asked:
Khalom slides up beside the other Nightstalker, mischief in her eyes. She sensed another grumpy Old Light to add to her collection. "Well hi," she said with a grin. "Nice to meet ya."
Tevis raises an eyebrow, takes a drag of his cigarette, and with the smoke still in his lungs says: ❝ You might change your mind, nothin’ nice ‘bout me... ❞ Then blows the smoke right in Khalom’s face.
