A smile crept on your face, geez.. you really missed her, huh? you found yourself quickly typing an Imy text, dazing off for a moment as you recalled her dazzling soft smile that she rarely showed anyone else.
That smile was quickly wiped off your face as you finally looked back at the phone screen.

You sighed as you saw her offline, it was either the silent treatment or— you were once again pushed out of your thoughts as you heard a swish, opening your eyes, your gaze fell upon the black feathers on the floor, lifting your chin, you were met with a seemingly calm Miranda.
Well, that's what you thought.
You felt sharp pain as Miranda forcefully shoved you on the ground, her steps calculated as she closed the distance between you both, grabbing you by your neck, her mask was thankfully not on her as she leaned down to your level.
“I suggest you tell me before I order the lords to find women in the village with the same name, executing them in front of you one by one, so they know you were the reason for their deaths."
Miranda whispered harshly as you whimpered, her grip firm, not enough to draw blood but enough to cause you pain that you wouldn't forget.
"You should be grateful that I even considered you to be my spouse. There are many women who could easily replace you."
Seeing that you couldn't focus, she dropped you on the ground, a loud thud heard.
"Miranda, I don't fucking know anyone named Abby. It was just a mistake. I meant to type—"
You were cut off as she laughed, staring at you, it was evident in her eyes on how she felt.
Jealous.
Greedy.
Possessive.
You slowly backed up to the cabinet behind you for something to lean on, tears threatening to spill.
"Then, I'll let this one slip for now."
Miranda said casually as if you weren't literally fearing for your life a few moments ago because she threw you on the floor and threatened you for a mistake.
She hummed with satisfaction, she saw the fear and honesty in your ever so beautiful eyes and that was enough to hold herself back, at least for the time being.
She carried you over to the bed, planting a small kiss on your cheek as if she didn't just hurt you.
"Take a joke, honey."
"You call almost making me unconscious because you shoved me on the floor and dropped me because of a misspelled word... a joke?"
"Precisely."
"Fuck you, Miranda."
"I'll gladly let you do so."
