Xander Singh released his album Muffin back in December via Hit City USA. Just a couple days ago, he shared the music video for his track “ICU”, an incredible indietronica track that also has some ballad-y qualities. I love the mix of the heavy electronic vocals with Singh’s fragile vocals. The blend of piano with synthpop and indie dance elements creates a super cool and emotion-packed track that really lured me into the song.

Start your Tuesday off with some heavier synthpop from Xander Singh. He’ll be releasing his album Muffin on December 16 via Hit City USA and you can take a peek into the record with new single “As Long As You’re Loved”. One of my favorite thing about this song is how Singh’s synthpop can sound so heartbreaking. With his heavily synthesized vocals, there’s almost this barrier between him and the person he’s singing about, like he’s just watching everything unfold in front of him and he can’t do anything about it. For such a heavy electronic track “As Long As You’re Loved” does a perfect job of emitting heartbreaking acceptance.
