try to find images with similar colours / themes
photoshop will save your life
as will pinterest (honestly, follow some good people / boards and you’ll never find it difficult to find images again)
try to use one psd for all images in a collection. it will give them all a similar aesthetic
neutral colours tend to work best - white / grey / black
play around a lot with positioning. when i’m making edits, i usually move the images around ten or so times before settling on a position that i like them all best in
but honestly, it depends so much on what you’re making, and what effect you want to achieve. every edit i make, i do differently. sometimes i apply full blown psds to them, sometimes i just tweak the colourings a bit, sometimes i leave them exactly as they were when i found them, and sometimes i go through each one to make the backgrounds match. it depends on what i think looks best. sometimes i pick one colour scheme, sometimes i just choose “soft colours” or something like that. idk. i’m sorry this hasn’t been more informative, but i think edits are just something you get better at as you practice more (honestly when i look at the stuff i made when i first started editing, i actually cringe)
