Tomorrow's the series final for one of the best/favorite cartoon's, Craig of the creek ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Thank you to Matt Burnett & Ben Levin, The Creek Crew, and all those involved for making one of the best shows of the late 2010's to early 2020's 🌳💕

The colour subtext of Xavier has always been interesting to me.

LIKE IT’S PROBABLY INTENTIONAL BUT.

Cheyenne’s main colour also used to be blue when she was king but after leaving, adopted red.

Xavier’s most associated colour was blue when we met him up until Capture the Flag (Xavier’s flag was blue while Craig had the red one wow it’s like they had to take back each other’s colours) and he identified with red in season 5 after training with Cheyenne.

it’s just the pattern of the younger siblings taking on the colours of their older sibling (Kenneth started the blue colour) when they were king as a visual nod to living in Kenneth’s shadow. And then Xavier taking on red after Cheyenne trains him.

very youngest sibling of Xavier to take on the colours of his siblings it’s silly (Not to say I Don’t think Xavier likes red but there may be influence in his decision…or just because red would be the opposite of green (poncho))
