The worst part is I see potential in Xavier but I just can't bring myself to make him a more interesting character. I know I should like him, but I can't. He's great, afterall. A good person but oh so boring. So boring I myself don't even want to work with him.
Like??? Help??????
Don't wanna wait too long and miss the chance Of getting you closer Or when it gets colder, colder Hold you, if everything around us breaks Baby, we'll just fade to grey Hold you, 'till everything is miles away Lost in your embrace Lost in your embrace [Drop] Oh, it all comes crashing down I'm gonna be closer I can only get stronger Whenever it's over, whenever it's over [Drop] Hold you, if everything around us breaks Baby, we'll just fade to grey Hold you, 'till everything is miles away Lost in your embrace Lost in your embrace . . .
“Embrace” by NGTMRE & Carmada (ft. Xavier Dunn)
(Xavier Dunn)
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything new from Xavier Dunn, though the Australian singer songwriter and producer has lent his velvety crooning to a bevy of stellar tracks from other artists, like NGHTMRE & Carmada’s Embrace and Jesse Porsches’ The Weekend. But he’s finally returned with an exquisitely haunting new song and video named Isic Tutor, a diaphanous effusion of Dunn’s beautiful falsettos and a wistfully stirring combo of his soulful pop and ethereal indie electronica. An organic tide of anguished emotions exude from the song, which explores the themes of unrequited love in a tumultuous relationship. Intriguingly enough, its namesake is the strange wisdom of Isic, an AI character from a video game named Battleborn. Grab the single, a more than welcome and deeply moving re-emergence, here.
I think a way to fix him would be to give him a bigger role in the story. Perhaps he finds out stuff and intervenes. Perhaps he helps. Idk.
So yesterday night I was thinking.
“The story is called Verdant Tunnel, green is related to plants, Birch is called after a tree. What if every character had like a plant related theme to them in some way” and,
Because of that, I decided to name The Mother Maiden. Because of the maidenhair tree ((Because she IS a maiden and her hair is orange like the tree). The Gregs would also respond to the name Ginkgo, which is another name for the maidenhair tree or, also, its fruits. Elizabeth’s second name would be Ivy. Xavier would represent a bluebell. Sam would be a purple snapdragon Jayden would be a red iris Keep in mind a couple of these have their meanings reversed.
Man, I really need to stop sleeping on Xavier, huh?
