I really like Zelma Stanton and what stood out to me is how she casts spells like a witch similar to The Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness and uses magic as a sorceress like Doctor Strange. I NEED TO SEE MORE OF HER IN THE MCU!!!!! 😁

One of my favorite Xavier and Riri scenes has to be this parallel. Both of their quotes describe Riri's layered, multi-faceted, and outside-the-box nature. However, Riri describes herself more negatively. Her words are cynical, dismissive, and self-deprecative — maybe even a little dehumanizing.
On the other hand, Xavier has neither a negative nor an idealized perception of her. To him, Riri is not a "complicated creature" but rather a "complex person" (a description less confined, more humanizing and thoughtful).
It seems like Riri herself realized his sentiments echoed hers, but in a way more colorful and empowering.
She seems seen by what he said.
That means so much because Riri is a character who does not feel "seen" while, at the same time, wants to be seen.
Xavier is one of the people who does see her ❤️.
He is a very soulful character. He even goes as far as to deconstruct the toxic binary of perception Riri admittedly has (i.e., others tell you what you are, and it's either a sweeping "good" or "bad" label). While he gave Riri the affirmation she sought, he also made sure to specify that what someone thinks of you is just what that someone thinks of you. It doesn't define you. It isn't what you need.
Riri: Not to be dramatic, but I’d rather blow up my entire life and burn every bridge I’ve ever crossed than process my trauma.
Xavier: That sounds really lonely. It’s important to have someone to rely on for support if you ever change your mind. Remember, there’s no wrong way to grieve ☺️
~a few moments later~
Riri: Hey, so I made an AI of your dead sister to support me while I figure out how to take down the demonic entity running the crime organization I joined.
Xavier: Okay 😨 There is one (1) wrong way to grieve.
