Es was looking up at you while gripping your sleeve. Her voice was steady when she asked you but with the pleading look in her eyes it was clear she was unsure how you’d react.
“Yes, doing it tonight will almost guarantee our success.” she answered.

Author's note: This may be the best alphabet I've done so far.
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Es is surprisingly affectionate. She sees it as something that is part of her duties as your partner. A big part of it will be her experimenting with different types of affection and when they are best applied. Her favorite is actually hand holding. It’s simple but she really enjoys the way she gets to passively be in contact with you.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Friends mean a lot to Es and she will always do whatever she can for them. When hanging out she’s mostly quiet, only asking questions when confused or adding small comments.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Cuddling with Es is always great. She’s perfectly soft and always incredibly comfortable to hold. Her favorite is getting to put her head on your chest or you on hers. Listening to your heartbeat or looking at you safe and calm brings her great comfort.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Es in general prefers to almost always be near you even if you’re doing different things. She’d want to start sharing a living space pretty fast. She’s good and diligent with cleaning. Her cooking is slowly but steadily improving though she does seem to have an immense talent for baking.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Es wouldn’t start a relationship unless she was sure what she was feeling and that it was mutual. The only reason an ending would be necessary is if you change beyond recognition. Even then Es is more likely to try and help you find your way again than to go straight to breaking up.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
By the time she’s in a relationship she already knows she wants to spend the rest of her life with you. However she will wait until you’re comfortable enough. It’s easy to catch her daydreaming about it sometimes.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Her goal is to protect you. She would never do you any harm. She may rarely be a bit blunt with her comments but that’s it.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Es loves to hug you. Feeling you be close to her even for a short while always refreshes her mood. Though hugging her back may be a bit difficult due to her height.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
She’d probably be the first to say it most likely as part of her confession. She is not shy about saying it. She considers it simply stating facts and wouldn’t understand why you’d want her to tone it down.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
She wouldn’t get jealous as much as confused. She’d ask the person why they are trying to court you despite you being in a relationship. Maybe asking if they are perhaps one of those “homewreckers” she heard about.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Es always asks whether she can get a kiss or if you’d want one. She is too short to kiss you outright so unless you lean down she has to really go up on her tiptoes and she doesn’t like doing that.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
Es has a childish side shown in her interest in cartoons and such so she could connect with children using that. When it comes to actually taking care of them she’s serious and reliable.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Es always wakes up before you and from there decides what to do. If you have plans she will gently wake you up and get ready for the day with you. If there’s no rush she’s happy to lay back down and enjoy your presence. If there’s morning cartoons she quietly leaves to watch them.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Es is definitely the type to enjoy the silence. She likes to snuggle up on the balcony or near a window and watch the sky with you.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
Es tries her best to open up. She understands good relationships are built on communication but still finds it difficult to open up about her struggles with self perception. It’s a slow but steady process. She is a great listener and is always ready to listen to you open up.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
She doesn’t really get angry. More of the type to get disappointed.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
Es tries her best to remember anything you tell her. She tries very hard to keep the web of information about you in her head organised.

It would be the confession and you reciprocating her feelings. She feels a sense of redemption by being loved.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Incredibly protective. She always watches out for your safety and puts herself between you and anything she sees as a threat. If you get injured or sick she will do the best she can to help you.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
She always tries her best to make things to your liking. From small things like what you get to eat for lunch to dates and bigger events.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
She often focuses too much on pleasing you. She forgets to enjoy herself and you need to tell her making you happy shouldn’t be her only priority.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
Perhaps out of habit or perhaps because she likes being seen as such Es always tries her best to look cute.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Without you Es would feel lost and blame herself for everything no matter if it was her fault or not.

One thing that never changes with Es is her love for pudding. If you are shopping with or without her you will have to buy it. When going out with her you need to take any opportunity to get some pudding too unless you want her to get all pouty.

She wouldn’t like it if you try to isolate yourself from her, she really wants to earn your trust.

Es always holds onto you in her sleep in some way. From spooning to simply holding your arm.
