Oh, Kingdom Hearts. Vanitas has been left speechless as he gawked at Ryu’s attempt to create a Halloween costume. Then again, Vanitas also wants to burst into laughter, but he wants to show support for his friend. Sitting back in the chair awkwardly, Vanitas chews on his lower lip before speaking up. 

“Uh...well...I mean...it could be worse” The dark haired teen scratches the back of his head. “Yeah, let’s go with that story. Should we include some blood stains? ”

“Hm? What can I do for you?” The King asked towards the other after he had taken out some heartless that he had encountered so far.

“So this is Twilight Town. Gotta say it’s a fuckin’ pretty sight. Would be a nice place to go on vacation... too bad I’m here for work yo.” Reno mused to himself and decided to just get down to business. His boss wanted him to check out the world after hearing there had been some activity recently. 

“Still a random buildin’ in the middle of the woods... wow how cliche.” He made his way past the gate and kept an eye out for anything strange.

[ unfortunately enough for the stranger, Ree doesn’t exactly act the way people expect. The teen immediately glances towards the intended danger this guy is talking ab -- frowning -- before looking back to him. ]

“You want me to fight ‘em? I can probably take on three or four goons.”

The boy stared at he like a deer in headlights. While it was dark, she was instant in recognizing him as a boy who once saved her. “R…Riku…?” she muttered, immediately following with a soft, “Wait.” Upon getting a closer look at him, the differences between him and his doppelgänger slowly began showing true. Regardless, such didn’t matter at the moment.

“You’re not…” she tries to bargain with him, “You’re stumbling—it looks like you got beaten up.” Perhaps it was blunt to say as much, but she wasn’t incredibly concerned with courtesy in the moment. “Please,” she says, “let me help.”
