Once the lights return, people's eyes scan their surroundings to see what had happened and who was near. Many surprises arise.
Mysteriously, several weapons are noted to be missing. From what it is currently known: one knife, one rope, and one samurai sword are no longer on the foyer floor. The gun in Choi Junhong's possession was wrestled out of his hands. It's location is unknown.
Guests, in attempt to find a source of light, strayed from safety in numbers or from their group entirely. Those paid a costly prize.
— Cha Hakyeon, 24, was found dead in an overflowing, upstairs bathtub with a knife lodged into his back. A mixture of blood and water seeped through the carpets.
— Kim Hyelim, 21, and Lee Chaerin, 23, were found dead in the kitchen; pinned together by the samurai sword through their torsos. Blood spilled past the marble islands.
Unknown of their whereabouts, it is possible that they, too, might be dead — Hong Siyoung, Choi Jinri, Park Chanyeol, Gong Minji, Kim Joonmyun, Song Qian, Jung Yujin, and Jung Kiseok — or perhaps they are too busy terrorizing the guests.
