"Nya?" She's just going to watch the lady from afar. She smelled familiar.

"Ha-ha, how cute you find it acceptable to speak to me like that..."
"Maybe I'll consider installing a television set in every room of the hotel."

Unless...? (WIP snippet!)
For April Showers, day two of the Harringrove April prompts!
Steve stopped, laughing, and turned to face Billy—and the skies opened. Freezing rain smacked down into their scalps, dripping down from their eyebrows and noses, following their spines down their shirts, and trickling behind their ears.
Billy and Steve yelled and ran for the bus stop as the nearest cover, swearing at the onslaught of cold water. They panted, leaning into each other, and Billy started laughing again, his shoulders shaking as he leaned against Steve’s side.
Rain clung to Steve’s eyelashes, and he wiped his face to see Billy doing the same, his hair straightened with the weight of the water, and inches longer. In the light of the storm, his eyes were a deep blueish gray. He beamed over at Steve, laughing with rain across his cheeks and in his mustache. Steve reached out without even meaning to, wiping rain off Bily’s mustache with his thumb.
Billy licked his lips, ducking his head with a smile. “...guess we hit your hotel and change,” he said, shivering, and Steve sort of heard him, over his complete fascination with how the droplets sat sparkling across Billy’s hair and freckles.
Steve was familiar with the sensation of wanting to kiss a friend, and he pushed it down same as he would with Robin, wondering how the hell lonely he was. Billy was flushed, a little, panting from their mad dash, and he bit his lip.
Steve automatically echoed the motion, swallowing. “...I missed you,” he told Billy, “—so, just—stupidly much.”
“Yeah,” Billy smirked, tucking wet curls behind his ear. “Me too. Like a moron.”
“Have you got something dry to change into?” Steve asked him, unable to resist running his finger up the side of Billy’s face, to catch a droplet of rain off his warm, freckled cheek.
“Mmno,” Billy garbled, his eyes widening. “Fuck. I—um, no, I—I thought—two days, you know, just—just one pair of jeans. Should—” he took a shaky breath, “—we could…” he trailed off, biting his lip, and then, slowly, inched closer. “We could, uh, go back to the motel and, uh. Dammit,” He swallowed, grimacing, and Steve watched, fascinated by the motion of his throat, and the water clinging to Billy’s long, dark eyelashes.
He ran his thumb over the water droplets at the corner of Billy’s eye and eyebrow, and Billy sighed, closing his eyes. He leaned his cold cheek into Steve’s hand, and Steve wiped the water off Billy’s eyelashes, cupping his face. “Jesus, you’re touchy,” Billy said, kind of hoarsely.
“Sorry, sorry,” Steve laughed, grimacing. “I’m sorry, you—you’re just—”
“...what?” Billy mumbled, and Steve was powerfully tempted to kiss his nose.
