Here she is! My girl! My pride and joy! Dr. Lena Arvin, ONI Xenobiologist scientist extraordinaire!
Ahaaa... This isn't my typical artstyle to be sure, but I do love how this turned out. Most of my art of her is more unhinged and frankly far more bloody than this, but this is a good introduction to how she looks without it being twisted by any strangeness. Dr. Arvin, as I mentioned, works as a xenobiologist for ONI, so it's all fairly hush-hush in terms of what she actually does. There's definitely warcrimes being committed, and it's likely an ethics board would have a heart attack over what she actually wants to achieve in future, but we can skim that. Hardworking, extremely interested in Sangheili specifically, and not at all demotivated in her studies and experiments by the allyship between humanity and the Elites, Dr. Arvin often finds herself in precarious situations with her higher-ups and is in more than one secrecy program. Her file, if one could find it, would likely be scored through with more blank ink than enough to dye the whole page... and that's the *edited* version. yeah, I'm perfectly aware of how edgy and "mad scientist gone even more insane" she sounds. I take great pride in pleasure in being able to craft a character so unlike me in terms of morals and general life outlook. We do share a couple things, though - a career in the sciences and an (unhealthy) interest in Sangheili!!!

This is a drawing by Karolding of my Discovery character, Bianca Andrews, created purely for role-playing. She's a xenobiologist who joins the Discovery's science team and is assigned to watch the Tardigrade with Michael Burnham on her Uncle Paul Stamets insistence. During her time on the Discovery, she befriends Saru and even becomes infatuated with the neurotic Kelpien. Bianca often meets Saru for lunch under the guise of turning in her xenobiology reports. Saru, on the other hand, is oblivious to the affections of the mushroom man's niece. I meant to post this much earlier, but I got obsessed with the live-action Aladdin and Hot Jafar, so I kept putting it off in favor of Courtesan of Agrabah, which fans of the live-action Aladdin movie are welcome to check out.
