Soooo, watch me get checked when next episode drops or whatever but my personal tinfoil hat theory on why T. Ocellus hates the Xenomorph so bad it's on sight could be because they're competition from different ecosystems or Ocellus simply recognizes it as a threat from the get-go and wants any and all they come across snuffed out as quick as possible. Maybe T. Ocellus and some of the other specimens are from a specific planet/ecosystem where they fill very distinct niches, and that's why it seemingly aids the fuckass Space Leech and that metal-eating nightmare wasp—T. Ocellus is familiar with them and is also intelligent enough to recognize that they're not necessarily a direct competition or threat to them (specially the metal-eating one), definitely smart enough to see ways to use them for their own benefit, either on the short or long run.
The Xenomorph is not like that at all, in fact the Xenomorph has been mainly portrayed as an aggressively invasive species in most film canon with the sort of exception of Prometheus/Covenant where it's the result of extensive bioengineering (I understand extended media goes a bit further into this and into how the Engineers basically stumbled upon the primigenial species from which classic Xenomorphs derived, but the films are my thing, so I'm sticking with them). Even the Yautja in some places not only recognize this but are also particularly and continuously aware of the fact—read, AvP 2004, where it's made clear that they have and make use of WMDs when Xenomorph hunting events get out of hand to avoid them overrunning a planet (intentions with said planet notwithstanding).
T. Ocellus might have been aware of this as well in some way or simply gathered as much from observation during their shared time in the Maginot and any other chances while either of them were being caught, understood that they couldn't use it the same way it can some of the other specimens because while it might not be as smart as them, it's smart enough, and the bloodthirstiness would only make things more difficult. T. Ocellus clearly needs or is driven to get themself a host body with a functioning nervous system, even if it's in poor condition otherwise, but unless they're making a nest, Xenomorphs don't necessarily care about that sort of thing, and the one that spawned in the Maginot turned out to be particularly destructive, especially once they crashed. So, T. Ocellus chose violence—fight fire with a nuke.
