The first Xerneus true origin is quite unknown amongst humans, and a good some of pokemon...

Some say that Xerneus was a human girl, who had loved the forest, and all things nature... And over time, she had adapted to the forest, and had become a pokémon herself, so that she may continue on her healing of the forest..

Some say Xerneus was a human girl... A Human girl that had loved the forest and its nature, but.. But the girl had died young... Though her kind spirited soul had been reborn into the pokemon known as Xerneus, to forever take care of the forest...

Some then say that Xerneus had always been a pokémon.. And once they were ready to accept their wonderous fate, they had turned into Xerneus to settle into their new life, as guardian of the Forest...

The story maybe lost like many... Bit it's truly up to you, and what you belive is the true story of Xerneus...

Mother Xerneas, is there another reason to take Kerial's body? Freeing yourself from your frozen prison? To stop your sister from doing whatever she plans to do? To stop that man-made monster?

The Houndoom stopped mid-run, the voice that asked the many questions seemed to speak from the dark smoke around her. “As much as you know, you still know so little. My body is not entrapped in a prison, it’s more of a cocoon of ice. It keeps me safe while I recover from my ordeals years ago.”She stopped and thought on what she would details she would speak to one unknown to her. “My true form is still so weak, so I must use this host to stop my sister from destroying more of my forest.” She looked around at the embers that still tried to burn at anything around them. Her paw rubbing out a cluster under her without pain or retribution from the heat.

“Monster, Demon, Head Hunter. I’ve heard it called many things through the whispers of my forest. But I believe those humans called it a Beast before their breaths were cut short.” She shook her head as a bit of worry covered her face. “Even if her intent is to fight that beast again, this is my forest and my responsibility. She is banned and I will enforce that rule that was set down on us by our father.” Her tail whipped through the smoke as her feet drummed to a slow pace. “I will not use my powers to fix her mistake again. Even if she was right to do it…” Her voice drooled with sorrow as she skipped over a smoldering log that blocked her path.
