The girl looked over at Cole with a frightened look, but it soon turned to anger. “What are you doing? Who are you?” She asked.

“She didn’t mean to hurt you; or anyone. She may seem distant, but she needs time.” Cole told her.

The blonde girl glared at him. She didn’t need him to tell her own feelings. She knew what she felt. “Just leave me alone.”

Cole shook his head. “Everyone is worried about you. Not only about you, but your friend.” The spirit said.

He put a gentle hand on the girl’s shoulder. She looked at him confused on what he was doing, she wasn’t frightened of the boy for she knew that he was only trying to help.

“This isn’t your fault. Your friend is in pain as much as you are. She may need time to heal.” He said.

The blonde girl frowned. “I wish she would at least talk to us…”

“I know. She needs time.” Cole said.

“Can you be my friend?” She asked.

Cole tilted his head, but nodded. “Of course. I will be here for you like everyone else will. Just don’t shut yourself out. Everyone, including your own sister; is worried.”

She nodded. “Okay.”
