Having recently completed an X Files rewatch, I saw S11 for the first time. I saw S10 when it aired but failed to watch s11 and now I see why. What the hell was that? So I do think 11 was better than 10 overall, but they were both horrible. If I heard "alien DNA" one more fucking time! The acting was weird in both seasons too. I know they both said, Gillian especially, that they were trying to figure out how to play them older, but it didn't work for me. There were of course a few good episodes that helped me through these two seasons, but they only had 6 episodes in S10 and 10 episodes on S11 they should've all been good. And the last two episodes of s11 what the fuck was that???? Since they went with the original format of stand alone's and mythology, it should've been an two-parter to wrap this shit up. They also made me not give two shits about William. Of course the whole way William was handled ever since s9 is a whole other rant in itself. I highly doubt X Files will make a return, with the original cast anyway, and it shouldn't. Hell all of s9 was better than what we got in 10 & 11. The show ends at S8 for me. That finale gave me everything I needed and actually had a happy ending for Mulder and Scully.

I have to believe...that CSMs plan to forcibly impregnate Scully with his abomination didn’t take, and that Mulder later knocked her up the good old fashioned way, with CSM being totally unaware. I need this. Otherwise Chris Carter is the world’s biggest prick who is completely out of touch with society’s temperature on the subject of male entitlement over women’s bodies right now. This twist shits in the faces of long time fans who’ve been around since the beginning. No wonder Gillian is done.

i finally finished season 5 of xfiles and when i started season 6 i was really confused and i figured out that i needed to watch the movie. Everyone just called it the xfiles movie on all the chronology threads that i checked and so i downloaded a movie called The X-files: I want to believe. I was really extra special confused when i sat down to watch it and Scully and Mulder showed up in bed together and started fucking making out. I’m so pissed i started watching the wrong goddamn movie.
