About a month ago I met an SAI sister at Cal Lutheran University
in Thousand Oaks, CA.
I saw she was wearing a really freakin' awesome SAI hoodie & thought to myself
"I've never, ever seen a sister in the west coast. (due to many inactive chapters) She probably isn't from here"
After being pestered by one of my DZ & LZA friends, I approached her. introduced myself & she said she was from the Xi chapter in WISCONSIN. From Lawrence Uni. She was part of a camp that came here.
If anything just meeting a sister from a different chapter was pretty exciting.
We exchanged pleasantries and then I went to get my lunch in the cafeteria. Unfortunately her name slipped my mind once I started eating & it bothered me the rest of the workshop & I didn't see her the rest of the time I was there T_T
I really loved her hoodie! & I really wish I could've asked her where she got it from. It was a red hoodie with SAI, Vita brevis, ars longa screenprinted on the back.
Are then any Xi chapter ladies here that could help me with that?

I drove down to Davis this morning to go to a toast for my friends. It was great to see people again. I sometimes forget how gay I am until I hang out with my DLP brothers. Oh also, apparently I'm an Alumni Brother now which is cool. We drank a lot of mimosas and told stories of how Xi was back in the day. Great times and memories. Michael and Tervo, you were both great guys. Rest peacefully.
No I understand completely. That sounds wonderful. Wish they had something like that at my university.
thanks for understanding! and yeah, my siblings have really improved my life, I definitely feel lucky to be a part of it
If you're ftm why are you in a sorority?
ah, I felt this question coming. so I’m in a sorority called Gamma Rho Lambda. it’s a multicultural LGBT sorority, and one of the cool things about it is that people of all kinds of identities are welcome. as such, if you don’t identify as a woman/female, you have the option to become a “brother” instead of a “sister.” there are actually a few of us brothers throughout the US, which is awesome. basically it’s a really supportive group of people, and we’re working on changing some of the language in our constitution, both nationally and within our own chapter, to use gender neutral pronouns and such. I think basically the rule is that anyone who isn’t a cis-male is welcome. please don’t send hate in response, I know this can be difficult for some people to understand, but it’s right for me. hope that properly answers your question!
