"I used to turn everything before me to a blind eye
Believing that people's problem weren't my problems
My emotions and desire were unnecessary at all
People's thought and opinion would never matter to me
All of this was because I chose not to care about everything
Even about myself, because no one had given a single thought of me.
But, you.... You were the one who had saved me from that self.
You showed me the right path to become who I am today.
Those vigorous training from hell to Shoku level were nothing
Those sleepless night of reading and research were meaningful
Because of your natural talent of martial arts, I always chase after you.
I wanted to catch up to you, to be able to walk with you.
Your smile and determination saved me from that apathy despair.
So in all... The reason why I had reached to the level of Shoku warrior
It was all because of you, Ollie."
The previous quote I've put up in Black & White version, it's actually Oliver's words. Something which he took them for himself to motivate to become Shoku level Xiaolin Dragon.
Though many believed from Addam that it was his dedication to the Xiaolinhood, only Omi & Clay know that it was Addam's obvious deep feelings for Oliver that was the reason behind his motivation.
Prior joining the Xiaolinhood, Addam was born as a chubby and gloomy kid whom cares about nothing and himself. Due to his parent's favouritism to his perfect older brother, Addam was given no expectations or anything from his parents except the necessity to studies and things needed to live (food, water, etc.)
Even in the Xiaolinhood after he joined when he was 8, the same exact time as the other Xiaolin Dragons, Addam was practically cold and aloof towards everyone and find it meaningless to train hard for his so-called destiny. However, after that one incident happened when he was 10 and Omi revealing that Oliver is actually the Xiaolin Dragon of Wind connected to that incident...
Addam vowed to change himself for the better, learning and accepting Omi's words that there are things that truly do matter to him, and he had run away from them due to afraid to accept them. He took Oliver's words and ideals of determination, and grown to care for his friends and everyone around him.
However, this doesn't extend to his family.... Even though every holidays or every time there were letters brought in to the monks, Addam refused to reply any of the letters send by his family, mostly which were his older brother. And when the holidays came for monks to return back to the families, only Addam remained with Omi and visited Clay at times to go through vigorous training to get to Shoku level. But his true intention is just mostly to become as strong as Oliver, so that he would be the one to fight with her.
But, the training doesn't include on how to deal with your crush/love-of-your-life, so Addam is often a nervous blushing wreck when he's alone with Oliver. And Oliver, remained oblivious and cares for him greatly as his childhood friend.
Off note.... Please tell me the mountain, looks like a mountain too.... OTL
I swear editing this after coloring killed my sleep.... Either I'm now too easily scared by horror, or this guy is really just fucking scary even in his child form... OTL
"Hey Big Sister.... You're always babbling that what I did was wrong and is inhumane to do so.
But you never told me one thing...
What is supposed to be 'right' thing that I must do?
Tell me Big Sister, what is exactly 'right'?
Is it the morality of 'right' that humanity blindly follows and accept like sheep?
The 'right' to maintain balance and peace from Xiaolinhood?
The very same empty 'right' which those Masters and Grandmasters corrupted and abused to their liking.
Or is it.... Your own right, your own view of Justice... The path you walked on that you deems is right?
Because killing, greed of power, lust, arrogance and many others...
Those are the things you say only the Heylin way does, but you see...
Those monks aren't any different from the Heylin.
Tell me Big Sister~ Can you still believe everything that is right....
Everything that is only humane to do so....
Can you still believe the Xiaolinhood are all pure and good?
When they hide so many things from you like saying....~
Have you ever really wonder why are you the last to join?
Why you are the last and weakest among everyone?
Even when you trained so hard.... You trained to be acknowledged and loved so dearly....
And yet, you're just never there at all. All the hard work gone to waste~
Mostly... Have you wondered how many exact 'Xiaolin Dragons of the Wind'...
Were brought into the temple, and all eventually ended in the same fate~
So please Big Sister tell me~ Tell me now, what exactly is 'right'?
What exactly is 'human' to do? I mean... I have the exact warmth you feel~
So, I am a human, aren't I~?"
Info: Lang knows the Xiaolin monks very well, especially towards Omi's group. He enjoys mostly taunting to Omi about his big failure he made that started all of this mess, and even about the deceased Raimundo's banishment from the Xiaolinhood years ago by his own grave mistake. To Lang, the monks are truly nothing but pawns and he's willing to force them to turn into horrendous monsters that served him. As such, he's willing as far as to send them to died a horrid death by their own friends, as they were no longer recognizeable.
Even if they were, their salvation was no longer there except only death awaits. Lang's motive is to destroy every Shen Gong Wu and to absorb the Chi inside for a certain goal he had in mind. He often talked about the inevitable changes to come, but never stated what are the changes that are.
Lang often enjoys picking up on a person's desire and inner fears, using it as something to taunt and a tool to manipulate victims. Though he claimed and have human warmth from his body, Lang is by far anything but that. He had consume the Lao Mang Soup, and the true form he takes on currently is a form of a wolf. In his true form, Lang is more arrogant and expressive in contrast to his human form where he is more calm and composed.
"'Even if all odds of the world go against me, I'll fight on with my life.
Even if the path before me is nothing but darkness, I'll move on with my heart.
Even if all light is lost, all my friends were to lose hope, I'll keep holding on to the very end.
Even if everything that was the truth was a lie, I'll brave on through the veil of lies.
Holding firmly to my belief of what I think is right, no matter what other says.'
Because that is my path of right I've chosen to walk on to the very end!"
I hope that mountain is supposed to look like a mountain OTL
Otherwise, I'm just going to leave it there for random interpretation...
A Half-Chinese/Half-American whom is the successor of Clay being the Xiaolin Dragon of Earth. Among the six, Addam is the only one whose rank had to reach a Shoku level, his own dragon to be a dragon rider and his own Xiaolin Weapon given at the level of Shoku Warrior: Quakemer (Taken from the word earth 'quake' + ham 'mer'.... Yes, another horrible naming sense.)
His current level of Shoku warrior was his whole complete dedication towards the Xiaolinhood, devoted nearly all of his time in training and researching knowledge of the Xiaolinhood. As such devotion, Addam was the only one among them who willing shave his head bald and like Omi, he would often wear his monk robes while traveling the world to find Shen Gong Wu. The only piece of casual clothes he had is the one in picture of just a layered hoodie, jeans and sneakers.
Addam is the calmest and also the most perceptive in the group, he naturally took the role as the leader among the six. And being the leader, Addam also tend to be a little sadistic towards his friends, particularly Oliver being often the prominent teammate that receives his long harsh lecture and punishment by her reckless and impulsive side. However, Addam is often very secretive and keeps many things to himself, which often bring conflict to his friends for his reserved nature and hesitance to reveal the truth Omi had told him of.
And as stated from the tags I've reblogged, Addam has a huge obvious crush on Oliver that he would often always being a shy and nervous wreck; often stuttering in his words, turning completely beet red if she's close to him, or at worst, he would faint at their closeness. However despite all the obvious, Oliver remains completely oblivious at his crush on her, and thinks of him fondly as a good close childhood friend & is rather concerned whenever he had fainted when she's around him (Thinking he has anaemia or fever due to often looking pale).
The Quakemer Shen Gong Wu aka Addam's Shoku Weapon, created nevertheless by Clay Bailey, allows user to create miniature earthquake shockwaves at its short compact size. The longer & bigger it is, the more powerful the shockwaves would be. In that large size form in the artwork, Addam can slam the Quakemer on the ground to bring up large boulders to send them hurling at his opponents by swinging it over. It can also be used as a bladed weapon of scythe (From the hidden part of the hammer of the left) to cut down on his enemies, sharp enough to cut down boulders as well.
^This is what the whole view of the Quakemer looks like... An actual full drawing would be done... When I have the time to do so..... OTL
Genre: Horror, Gore, (There's probably psychological or other genre similar of it... But the two are more of the focused ones)
Rating: T to M
Warning: This is more gory than the previous drabble for Lang. If your stomach is really weak to gore or not, please do not read this before, during or after eating. Or simply, do not eat anything while reading this....
Word Count: 2203
(A/N: After this drabble, I’m going to write happy ones... Because two gore and angst are breaking my heart and appetite.... OTL)
Monstrous growl echoed with heavy pants in a dimly lit room. With a single burning torch, its light revealed an outline of a figure with its back leaning against the rocky surface of the wall. Another loud monstrous growl emitted from the figure, moving to one spot to another.
It lower its head down and begin gobbling on the ‘food’ before. As it gobbles down, liquid drool out from its mouth of the ‘food’ it had chewed on…. The rotten smell of metal that would made one reel back with nausea, was a smell the figure hunger for more.
Once done, it spits the object clamping onto its mouth and headed over to a different spot with the same repetitive steps it had done.
At the moment, a bright light emerges from the hole behind it. The light causes the figure to flinch and find the nearest shelter to shield from. However before it could do so, a child-like called out cheerfully “Little Piggy, it’s me! I came to visit~!”
The familiarity of the voice causes the figure to flinch, however… Reluctantly, the figure slowly crawled out from its hiding and headed to where the voice is. As it goes closer to the light, it detailed the figure to be what it seems to be a male human with a grotesque bloody snout of a pig.
The stumps of his amputated legs were covered in unclean bloodied bandages which were once white, and the lower arms was sewn on with different colored skin that was sewed together. However, the hands at the end were sewn to be a pair of claws belongs to a dragon. His body had worn what seems to be worn-out and torn clothing of a Xiaolin Monk.
A giggle echoed in the room, the door slowly closes and the lights were illuminated by the light bulb hanging by the wall. The source of the giggle had come from a child whom worn a metal plate mask with matching white changshan covering his body.
Approaching to the grotesque-looking human, the child merely let out another giggle and spoke sweetly “How have you been, Little Piggy? Did you missed me while I was gone? Because I really missed you too~!”
Shuddered with fear at the sweet voice, the Xiaolin monk trembled with his face slowly paled… Trying to find the voice with the pain in his throat, a hoarse voice managed to stutter out “Y…. Ye…. Yes…… I have missed you, Master….”
The child took a step closer to the monk, tilting his head innocently as he asked with an innocent curious tone “Master?”
Flinching fearfully at the curious tone, he had felt the urge to hurl out everything he had eaten at the deep fear in his heart. However, if no reply were to be given soon…. Before he could speak, the young child raised his arm up in which was completely covered by the oversized sleeves.
However, the shape of his hand was still visible as the index finger made a ‘Come Hitler’ gesture to the monk as an order. An order not to be disobeyed, the monk crawled towards the child however… With the well-lit room, he was more of dragging his body clumsily by gathering every single ounce of energy to focus on his grotesque arms.
Once he was closer, the child showed an approving smile and petted affectionately onto the messy and long black raven hair. He then asked “You haven’t forgotten my name have you, Big Brother?”
Shaking his head as he trembled by each pat on his head, the monk croaked out a reply “O…. O-O-Of c-c-course n-not…… M-Master L-Lang….”
With the bright smile on his face, Lang changed his action from petting to stroking the monk’s head affectionately as he replied gently “Good boy~ Little piggy is a good boy.”
By that compliment, he was safe only for now. The fear however still remains, because it was to the unknown of never knowing when his Master’s good side would immediately be gone or even how long it’ll last before….
“You must’ve been awfully hungry haven’t you, little piggy~?” Lang spoke as he was now standing before a pile of countable messy cut-up meats of humans such as their arms, limbs, torso and etc. Turning his head to where the monk was, behind him was loads of human bones scattered around belonging to the pile of human meat.
Turning around to look at the pile of bones for a second, the monk felt something poke at his back and nearly screamed. But, the familiar child-like giggle behind him doesn’t really help in easing that fear inside.
He turned back to see Lang, with his black bandage-covered hands outstretched holding up chopped off bleeding fingers and slices of an arm. A sheepish grin formed on Lang’s lips, quietly said “I’ve removed the bones for you, Big Brother~ Here, please eat!”
Swallowing a gulp, the monk had moved closer and Lang set the meat down to the ground; taking a step back. Once he was closer, the monk had begun to lower his head and chew onto the meat given to him.
Watching as the monk…. Or rather, the former Xiaolin monk eating and swallowing hungrily down the arms and fingers down into his belly. A small smirk curved up on Lang’s lips, it was truly a pleasing sight to see before him.
Lang spoke to the monk, more towards to himself “You know, even though it’s only been 50 years… It reminds me of the very first day you’re brought in here. You were always loud and prideful, believing your powers bestowed from those dragons gave you the right to rule over others.
Threaten innocent villagers to give you more than what you’re supposed to receive…. Selfishly stealing food shares from your own fellow monks, and even hurting them with the powers granted by them. However….”
Moved closer and squatted down to eye level, a sing-sang voice came out his mouth “Here you are now~ Right now before me, eating as hungry as ever…. Having your own share without anyone ever taking it from you again. It taste good, isn’t it?”
Looking at the former monk nodded timidly as he kept eating, an amused chuckle escaped from Lang. Truly how pitiful he was, a monk prided by Clay Bailey as his best student….
If only that cowboy knew, if only that soft-hearted beneath tough exterior Xiaolin Dragon of earth knew…. If only Clay Bailey arrived now and saw this before him, it would ever be a wonderful sight to see…. Followed by what would happened after.
Leaning his head forward close, Lang spoke “Do you want seconds, Little Piggy?”
At the emphasized word came out from Lang’s lips, images from his memories flashed into his mind. One being he had escaped from his cell after being famished to the bones with only little of food to eat.
He had regretted so much for escaping his cell… If only he wasn’t that starving, if only he didn’t found that storage room of food to eat up all… And if only, he didn’t tried to attack one of the young wolf cub who was trying to take a piece of meat from him.
And all of it…. He was brought in a similar dark room, where a bronze-tan man forcefully fed him with organs to body parts of his fellow human monks. When Lang had asked him of those exact words in that sentence, he remembered how hard he pleaded and shook his head to stop.
But Lang chose to ignore it and continued to have the bronze-tan man to feed him, until his body would urge to vomit everything out. When he had hurt one of the wolves that pinned him down, Lang ordered his arms to be eaten slowly.
To add on, his punishment as he struggled was also force to be fed on feces of both animals and humans alike. Something which Lang cheerfully described as having additional ‘dessert’ for his seconds in his appetite.
“So, do you still want more seconds, Little Piggy~?”
At that serene tone from Lang’s words, the monk had turned his attention back…. To face that dreadful serene smile on that child’s lips. Face paled as white as a bone, that smile on his face would often brought nothing but absolute terror; absolute horrifying terror that only Lang would knew.
“No…”
“No no….”
“No NO NO!! NO NO NONONONONONO!!!!!!”
“S-ST-STA-STAY AWAY!!! NO PLEASE I BEG YOU!!!”
The monk moved backwards before turning around to crawl away from the child as he could, while shrieking madly with fear “STAY AWAY!!! GET AWAY!!!! NO PLEASE NOOOO!!! STAY AWAY!!! LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!
LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!! PLEASE!!! ANYONE!!! HELP PLEASE!!! MA—!!” He collided into a body that had small arms wrapping around his head gently. Realizing the familiar warmth he felt, the monk struggled as he shouted “PLEASE!!! LET ME GO!!!! LET GO!!!! I DON’T WANT ANY!! I DON’T WANT ANY SECONDS!!! LET GO—!!”
“Shh…. It’s okay… It’s alright, Big Brother” Lang quietly cooed to the frightened monk, softly stroking his head with one hand, while the other was used to firmly held the body close to him. Despite his small stature, the monk wasn’t able to struggle out by the firm grip Lang had on him.
As Lang continued stroke to the struggling monk’s head, he quietly cooed with a soft voice “It’s okay, Big Brother. I was being mean to you, when I shouldn’t have. You didn’t anything wrong, Big Brother. It’s okay…. Big Brother is too full in his tummy to eat anymore, so I understand~”
“M…. Master Lang….?”
Though the fear remained firmly in his heart, the words Lang spoke eased him into the embrace of the small child. With his head being hold gently by small bandaged hands to face Lang, a small proud smile shown onto Lang’s lips.
“You must be thirsty, aren’t you? Big brother would need something to drink, right?”
With a nod from the monk, Lang removed his arms around the monk’s head. His left hand reached inside of his long right sleeve to take out a palm-sized black opaque bottle. Turning around and walking over to the back, Lang picked up the bowl-shaped rock and poured the liquid into it.
Returning back, he handed the bowl over to the monk and said “Here you go, Big Brother~”
The monk took the bowl carefully and drank the revealed green liquid down, while Lang merely walked ahead towards the entrance of the room. However as he walked, the smile on his face slowly turned into a cruel vicious smirk as a loud monstrous growl come after of what he had done.
By the hallway illuminated by the orange-lit torches hanging at the wall, a grayish green-fur wolf was standing by the door like a watchful guard. As the door open, the wolf turned its head to look at the child with eyes widened “Brother Lang, your clothes….”
“Hm?” Knowing what she had meant, Lang merely chuckled lightly and assured “Not to worry, Lin. I supposed I have gotten a little carried away while having fun with my little pets.”
“I…. see…”
Acknowledging a nod, Lin quietly follows Lang by his side as he had begun walking towards the slope on her right. While walking, Lin spoke “Brother Lang, you should not let those creatures touch you too easily. What if they had tried to harm you or even kill you at the opportunity they seek?”
A carefree laugh merely escaped from Lang, Lin was as much as a worry-wart as Duyi was. Though only difference being, Duyi would probably forbid him or would volunteered himself to come all the way here to do his job.
“They can try all they want, Lin. The chi within them would've no effect on me if they tried…. Those monks are now nothing but mere little caged animals, anything that is left of them being human... All of it are just they were just once were.”
“….. What about that thing, however?”
“That thing?” Referring to the said creature he had just visited, Lang merely replied at ease “That thing may have a mind on its own for now. Its body was comfortable to digest human meat, and with that soup I've given…. Its mind would be reduced to simple desire of hunting humans for prey.
And any form of human speech it’s capable of would slowly reduce to the sounds of an actual pig his chi had given his form to, Lin.”
Turning her head slightly, Lin calmly replied “So, there would be a new addition to the army?”
“Soon, Lin. Maybe give it another few drinks of it and training that thing to the right direction, it would be a good addition to the army. Besides~” A delighted smile curved up on Lang’s lips, as he cheerfully spoke “Grandmaster Clay Bailey and his family could use another little piggy in the barn.”
Nodding once more to acknowledge, the two remained quiet for the rest of the journey towards the next few level above to visit another creature behind the same door.

Author’s notes:
This drabble took way too long to complete, because I had to stop and ask if I had really gone too far with the gore and horror, too much psychological and torture I've written.
And I'm clearly taking break every paragraph to make myself comfortable before writing, because everything being written is very uncomfortable to my stomach and me.
And mostly because I'm wondering how far Lang would go in his dark sadistic side of what he really is...
And everything of this is absolutely NOT OKAY at all! Yes, this include the horrible dreaded nightmare when Clay Bailey finds out that creature was one of his students that he killed or so. Because Lang would take pleasure in seeing the pain and suffering the grandmaster monk would see
...... Unfortunately or rather thankfully, I managed to control the content since there was other torture I had in mind that Lang did..... And well... I don’t need my appetite to be ruined even more....
The Xiaolin monk here had no name is partly that I’ve no idea what to give, but because is mostly of Lang’s view of seeing them as pawns against the Xiaolin monks.
The setting where the monk is a faraway location from Lang’s homebase.
OC & drabble notes:
Yes, Lang in this drabble is really of his true self one partly is his sadist side and using his child form to troll around them
Any form of affection to his victims is a complete act, he could really care less of any of them. As such, he treats them mostly as his pawns to go against the monks
Lang had two different army as stated, one is his siblings & pack of wolves. The second is the monsters which were once formerly human being tortured, having their mind broken and becoming hideous monster that consume their own kind.
Most of the monsters in the second army are the former Xiaolin monks Lang had captured. He ensured every single one is broken and turned into grotesque creatures that only sees every single human as source of prey to hunt
Knowing this, it very much includes that all Xiaolin monks, their former friends and teacher, they would no longer recognize them as comrades but prey to eat
Those who are not able to turn into monsters and died in process halfway of drinking the liquid, would be reuse and chopped up into food supplies for the victims and wolves.
To the second army, Lang & the wolves doesn’t sees and treat any of them as humans, mostly refers to any of the former humans as ‘that thing’
One of the pretty common torture Lang does to his victim while holding them captive, is feeding them organs and body parts of humans to the captive.
Lang definitely have both enhanced speed and strength.
And no, he doesn’t have teleport ability, just really being very fast that looks like him teleporting.
I think by now some or most of you would've notice or even know what that liquid Lang gave to all his captives. But it’s on my own twist of the headcanon:
By controlling the amount of soup given and its ingredient inside, certain effects would only be triggered.
The monks only had immortality and monstrous true form by the soup. The eternal beauty effect is removed and their chi is corrupted to the Heylin side.
The soup was only given when the monks were too damaged and broken to fight aganist Lang, giving them so they would be mindless beast that Lang had controlled over them.
If any shed of Will still remained and rebelled back against Lang, the said captive would immediately be killed and become a food supply like the above.
Or Lang would just let them be released, and have them died a dog’s death by their former friends who would not be able to recognize them anymore.
Only certain limited power is given which is enhanced physical ability and their dragon element.
Genre: Family, Comedy (If you guys find it funny or so), Bits of Darker tone here and there I think
Rating: K+
Warning: Very slight gore... (I think? Depends on whether you think is gore)
Summary: A drabble moment of Lang with Shihong & Jingjing
Note: You can considered it as a sort of sequel to this drabble here
“1.. 2.. 3, 4……. 7…. 8…… 10—Damn, not this shit again….!!”
A large wolf with reddish-brown fur stopped in his own tracks, letting out a loud irritated growl. Yet again, after hours of hunting and killing every single foolish human hunters who come into the territory to hunt….
From tearing their limb off to biting their head off their neck, he was sure that every single one was laid before him in a mountain pile of dead bodies. Letting out another frustrated growl, the red wolf cursed “That damned slippery human…!”
“A mile ahead he had ran off from your position at 8 o’clock, southwest direction… And making a big roundabout to the entrance, Shihong.”
Hearing the familiar child-like voice from his back, Shihong turned around to only show a rather more annoyed expression than before “You could’ve come here without her, Lang.”
The darker navy grey fur wolf that Lang was sitting on, turned her head slightly to snort “And leave our leader defenseless from those humans? Has the bloodlust finally gotten too much in that empty skull of yours, Shihong?”
“Who says I’m talking about our leader’s capability? He’s more than capable of dealing any of those humans or those livestock from the Xiaolin temple. Unless… You dare to doubt his capability there?”
“You little—!!”
“That’s enough, Jingjing.” As Lang intercept the quarrel between the two, he got down off from Jingjing and approached towards Shihong. With his arms to the back, Lang turned his head to face Jingjing before turning back to the front and chided “Jingjing had accompanied here, is because I’ve something for her to be done.
As for you, Shihong, I believe not only today’s hunting would be enough for our fellow brothers and sister for the next few days…. It would’ve at least stirred up some commotion among the villagers soon enough.”
“The villagers?” Shihong snorted, he stared at Lang with a dubious look and added “Those bunch don’t even dared to set a foot here. They must be really stupid to ask for their death wish if there’s backup coming here!!”
Raising her brows at Shihong’s obvious statement, Jingjing retorted “You do realize the only reason why backup is coming, because you killed most of the humans…. Leaving only ‘one’ to run for his life?”
“Do you have any solid proof from those foolish humans that they are here now? Like they would be that foolish than ever to give themselves out.”
To speak of Shihong’s words, a loud gunshot from a distance afar in the southwest of their position was heard. It was followed by an unfamiliar masculine voice shouted “That’s the fucking eighteenth time you carelessly misfired, idiot!!”
Deadpan expression shown onto Shihong’s face at the voices, while Lang merely shrugged and said “It’s your own fault for letting that human run off alive…. So, I’ll need you to negotiate with them to ensure they’ll leave with the severed heads of their friends…
I don’t wish for any unnecessary interferences of tonight’s briefing with them. So, ensure they won’t take a single footstep here for the following week before we left, Shihong.” With that said, Shihong immediately whipped his head to Lang and growled with frustration “Oh hell no!
There’s no way I’m making peace with those livestock who stepped foot in our territory in the first place!! Besides, you brought her to do it, right?!!”
“Who’s planning to clean up your own mess that you made, Shihong?” Jingjing scoffed at Shihong’s outburst amusedly, and retorted “I’m tasked by Brother Lang to gather the rest of our brothers & sisters up on the mountain for tonight’s briefing.”
Lang nodded slightly, and soon added “Yes… Which is why, you’ll be accompanying Shihong together to gather everyone in the main hall before sundown, Jingjing… Along with convincing the humans to leave the territory for the next coming weeks.”
With both wolves whom were glaring daggers at each other, they whipped their head in sync and shouted incredulously “What?!!”
Shihong growled angrily “You better tell me right now this has to be one of your jokes!”
“I agree for once, there is no way I’m going to clean up the shit his filthy paws had messed up!” said Jingjing.
“That’s right, I do not need anyone to persuade those livestock like this sorry excuse of a helper!”
“I dare you to say that again for some excuse of a predator who let goes of his prey!!”
“Ahem!” Clearing his throat to gain the attention back of his siblings, Lang moved his head to face both Jingjing and Shihong before then continuing “It’s not a joke at all, Shihong.
Killing their comrades would leave the humans absolutely restless until their vengeance is satiated…. It would be a problem if they decided to take it out on our siblings and the children.”
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Shihong questioned with a snarl “And you don’t trust me with getting rid of them?”
“As much as the easiest way would be to kill them would be good…. We need to make peace with them before we leave. It would be troublesome, if our location gets out to the world… Especially if it’s ‘them’ we’re speaking of, Shihong.”
“Tch….”
A burst of bright orange flames completely shrouded Shihong’s body, covering him in the flames as to only a shadow figure of the wolf. With a bright red light, the wolf slowly changes to the form of a human, the flame slowly disperse to reveal.
The said human had notable darker bronze tan-skin color with reddish brown short hair and orange silted eyes, wearing a red sleeveless changshan with a large broadsword hanging at his back.
Folding his arms crossed, he spoke with a deep rough voice “To be clear, all I had to do is to ensure those livestock to leave this place, right?”
Lang nodded at his words, affirmed “Yes. Return their comrade’s head to convince them to stay away from here as long as possible, Shihong.”
“Whatever” grunted Shihong. He headed to the pile of dead bodies he had collected, and easily pulled the heads off from the bodies with one tug. Uncaring of the blood spilling and dripping from the necks and the heads, Shihong turned and headed off to the exit.
However before he leave, Shihong turned his head to glance at Lang and spoke “I do get a head start to gobble up those monks in exchange for this, Lang?”
As Lang nodded faintly, a small smile curved up on his lips as he replied “Of course, it’s an all-you-can-eat season… So, eat to your heart’s content, Shihong.”
With a satisfied smirk shown on the bronze-tan man, he turned his head back to the front and declared as he headed off “Just don’t expect to leave some leftovers when the time comes.”
Cautiously watching as Shihong walks away, Jingjing turned her head to Lang and asked “Do you truly think there’s enough of them for his hunger to be satisfied?”
“I’m sure it’ll be, Jingjing. Otherwise… The humans he’s to negotiate would be a substitute to do so, if he’s not able to hold back his bloodlust.”
“I see…” Jingjing quietly closed her eyes, as foam of bubbles begin covering her wolf’s form till nothing is left to be covered. A second later, the foam of bubbles changes the form of a wolf to a human as it slowly unveils the figure.
The figure reveals to be a tall woman with dark navy-grey colored hair tied up in a side ponytail to her right, stoic grayish blue eyes eyeing carefully at the direction where Shihong had left. She had worn a blue sleeveless changshan with matching armbands and a sword tied by the cloth around her waist.
Pulling off the rest of the heads among the pile of dead bodies easily via grabbing their hairs, the woman spoke as she walked off “If you could pardon me.... I’ll be leaving him there with those livestock, if his bloodlust had finally gotten overboard in that skull of his.”
Replying with a small nod, Lang quietly watched as Jingjing headed off to the same direction as Shihong did with trails of dripping blood coming from the severed heads. Minutes later after she had left, another female voice from the back spoke “Brother Lang, are you sure it’s alright to leave it to both of them?”
Lang merely chuckled, answered knowingly “Jingjing is capable of keeping Shihong grounded from his bloodlust. As much as Shihong dislike the thought of working with her... I do believe they would make a great team together hand-in-hand, Lin.”
As soon as the name escaped from his lips, a grayish green haired ponytail girl landed onto the ground with one of her knee in a kneeling position. She had worn a sleeveless dark green changshan with both her upper thigs strapped with daggers in it.
Turning around, Lang with his smile intact spoke “Welcome back, Lin. How did it go?”
“Both the Xiaolin Dragon of Water and Master were speaking to their pupils about their plans to leave the temple for a week. The Xiaolin Dragon of Water is on his trip to visit an old friend, while the Master would be returning back to his homeland to visit his family.
The young Dragon Prince is ought to be following the Xiaolin Dragon of Water of his trip, as such... Only the elder monks, the apprentices and the young Xiaolin Dragons would remained at the temple.” Lin reported and soon noticed the smile on Lang’s face had grown notably wider.
He let out another chuckle as he said “I see~ Thank you for the hard work as always, Lin.”
“No, it’s my duty to serve and protect you, Brother Lang.”
Before Lang could nod, he then heard Lin spoke once more “But Brother Lang.... Is the word ‘team’ you’re using the right word..... For your scheme you’ve come up with?”
Smiling innocently, Lang folded his arm to the back and replied in a carefree tone “It can’t be helped when both are oblivious to their own hearts, Lin~ Besides, you too had think they would make a great ‘team’, won’t they?”
Staring at her human brother-figure in complete silence, Lin replied with an impassive voice “Shihong would be very unpleased of your schemes... As Jingjing would be as well, Brother Lang.”
Pouting slightly, Lang merely sighed “Can’t a dear old brother worry of his siblings welfare? Oh well~”
Shrugging off with a carefree smile, he then changed the topic “Lin, would you mind helping out to carry this pile back?”
“Naturally, Brother Lang. But...” Turning her head to signal the said direction where Shihong had gone, Ling queried “What about that pile of humans?”
“I’m sure Shihong would bring it back himself, since Jingjing would be there to help him carry back after all~ If not, he would most likely had eaten everything down to the bones before gathering our brothers and sisters, Lin.”
Nodding silently, Lin then begin to help Lang in carrying the dead piles of bodies back to their home. However while doing so, the cries of human whom screaming at the arrival of death came a while later... To which for Lang, it was nothing but music to his ears.
OC notes:
Lang:
In his form as a child, Lang often acts more at times like a child and also usually enjoy giving light teasing from time to time.
However despite his form as a child, he does able to act as a leader and authorities to give out orders or getting attention of his wolves to command them.
He's also sort of shipping Shihong & Jingjing together, which somehow made Lin wondering if he really should be playing around with Shihong's temper
Does have his sadism in the drabble to allow Shihong to kill if he deems necessary to do it.
Shihong:
He's at times rash and hot-headed especially if his prey got away in his hunt
Often at throat with Jingjing, but still ended up working with her many times... Much to their dislike
Wields a broadsword as his weapon of choice for combat.
Also dislike greatly to talk to humans to negotiate with them for peace, and even transforming to one... Unless it was for battle
Jingjing:
The Blue Oni to Shihong's red oni
Often mocks and dislike at times of Shihong's unnecessary bloodlust that would cause them trouble with the humans
Quite protective of Lang, her brother figure
Wields a katana by her side as a weapon figure
Often being paired up with Shihong by Lang usually to restrain Shihong's bloodlust, knowing she's capable to do it. But is still oblivious for now at Lang's intention of shipping her and Shihong together.
Lin:
The Spy & Assassin among her siblings
Like Guizhi, she's also tasked by Lang to do spying-related jobs
Has a quiet and serious personality
Though very loyal to Lang, she often wonders with concern if Lang should even be trying to pair her other two siblings up.
Even though she gives Omi & the other grandmaster proper titles, she views them nothing as enemies to be eliminated and a complete threat to Lang.
Drakken aka Mini Dojo:
Being a direct descendant of Dojo Kanojo Cho, Drakken is next in line as stated by Lin to rule his world of Dragons. (Someone please confirm or give me headcanon regarding of this)
Other notes:
This drabble shows more of Lang's side of being both father & leader figure to his siblings and the other wolves
Even the main wolves were raised as siblings, only Duyi & Tengfei have blood-relations to each other. The rest of the other wolves have no direct relation to them or each other at all. (So a big ouch to Duyi as he lost his last remaining family)
Also display little of Lang's true sadistic side he harbours towards the others.
Yes, he's planning something big time for the monks when Omi and the main master are gone from the temple.
"If I were any of you, I wouldn't wave that little toys around too much, Big Brothers and Sisters.
Those little toys each contained your previous master's Chi as a proof of loyalty towards that
pathetic Xiaolinhood they made up. So.... Wouldn't it be a shame if someone...
Would just take of that little toy and 'BAM'!
That little toy would be like Humpty Dumpty, could never 'ever' be put together again~"
Shit.... Looking it again, I failed the gradient part for the background... God damn it... OTL
Here’s Lang to those whom are really wondering of his child appearance. And to make up for the lack of bio still...... I’ll probably drop one main information of the OC in the illustration....
Info: By the given quote, Lang is one of the main big antagonist the young monks would faced in their journey to gather all the Shen Gong Wu. He mocks the Xiaolinhood and as his quote stated (can be very debatable due to lack of information)..... Lang possess capability to destroy the Shen Gong Wu created by his ex-friends and comrades through the use of Heylin Magic. So what he excels the most is Heylin Magic & Weaponary use for combat. In that form a child, he behaves more of a child than his usual self... And mostly, he refers the young monks as “Big Brother” and/or “Big Sister” mostly to troll them. But when it comes to Omi & the rest, he would immediately refer them by their name.
Warning: OCs, Character Death Mention
Genre: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Family
Rating: K to K+
Word Count: 1017
Summary: Lang and Duyi having one of their usual time together of awake at late night to discuss about certain things...
Note: This drabble is also a flashback...
OCs information will be written end note below
“You and Tengfei shared the same habit of coming here to look over the view when you can’t sleep, Duyi.”
The lone brown wolf sitting near the edge of a cliff, turned his head to the voice called out to him. The child before him had notable metal-plate with red clawed eye marking worn, white hood being worn up that matches his changshan with sleeve past his hands slightly.
Approaching towards the wolf, the young child sat and settled himself beside Duyi. Duyi faced back to the front and spoke “The view above here is comforting to ease one’s thought. What about you, Brother Lang?”
“The same reason as you, Duyi.” Lang merely shrugged as he gazed up to the sky “It’s truly relaxing compared to the view in a city where the light polluted the sky…”
Nodding faintly in agreement, Duyi glanced up at the star-filled sky with Lang to look. There was nothing out of the norm, except the worries they would gained if anything were happened to them both while they were away… Not that it was something to worry for either Lang or Duyi.
Duyi then asked as a thought came into his mind “How about the others, Brother Lang?”
“Guizhi should probably be returning soon from the temple from the spying I had asked on. Everyone are still sleeping when I checked on them before heading out.”
“And Shihong?”
Lang merely shrugged as he easily gave an expected reply Duyi already knew “He said he couldn't sleep too. So, he’s out hunting for the night and should bring us good feast in the dawn. He had made a loud howl when he usually finds a good prey to play with.”
Rolling his eyes, it was predictable to both Duyi and Lang. That bloodthirsty red wolf would be restless at some nights, often being unable to sleep and went out in the forest to satisfy his thirst. Though he would often brought food back the animals he had hunted, it doesn't change at the risk of his howl that would give away their location.
Nevertheless with Shihong roaming and hunting, he would also took down any intruders at the same time that dared come into their territory. Shaking his head exasperatedly, Duyi soon turned surprised at Lang’s quiet chuckle “Is Shihong hunting at dead night amusing, Brother Lang?”
“No… Rather, you had the same reaction as Tengfei after I told him of Shihong’s hunting.” Lang replied, the smile on his lips slowly turn to a small frown as he looked towards the sky.
Looking back at the sky with a small frown as well, Duyi wondered “Do you think Tengfei would've met Mother now?”
“No one knows…. But, it doesn't hurt to hope he does, Duyi.”
“I see…..”
Silence soon returned with the two looking at the sky with hint of sorrow on their face. Duyi turned his head to look at Lang who had bowed his head down with a rather solemn expression, the reason he knew was obvious….
Duyi simple spoke out “Tengfei would've been proud to be able to achieve and serve your needs until the very end of his life.” Even if it means dying in the plan to massacre every Xiaolin Dragons three years ago, Duyi knew that both him and Tengfei would still follow Lang’s order to do so.
“'His life’, hm….” Lang slowly raised his head up as he spoke in a distant voice “Then, Duyi... What about you?”
“Me?”
“Do you still wish to follow my blood-stained path of darkness still until this whole rotten world had returned back to the way it was?”
As Lang turned his head to face him, Duyi knew what his brother and benefactor wanted. Lang’s own morality was sided with the Heylin, chaos and bloodshed were nothing to him if he needed to achieve his goal. The massacre of innocent lives to destroy the new Xiaolin Dragons was something he had no remorse for.
But the only regret he had was… The death of Tengfei through the massacre was the only thing he failed to expect upon. A regret many of them shared for the loss of their dear brother…..
Staring at him in silence for a while, Duyi then made his own move to return the answer. Standing up, a bright red glow completely enveloped him with black dust as revealing a young tall man with short dark brown hair and brown eyes, with brown changshan.
Kneeling down before Lang, Duyi replied “From the day you've given life back to us, you've never once used it as a leverage to control us. But rather, you give us our freedom as you believe we deserve so.
That is why, all of us…. Until the end of life you've given us, we’ll serve you as your fellow brother and sisters of the same cause.”
“Humorous, really.... The Xiaolin Chi that brought all of you back should have made everyone of you on the good side.” Letting out another chuckle, Lang then continued “But it seems, just because a good chi was used… Doesn't mean it would change a person’s morality after all.”
“Perhaps, it is so, Brother Lang.” Duyi replied.
Just then, a familiar black raven had flew in and landed onto Lang’s head, spoke “I've returned, Young Master.”
“Welcome back, Guizhi.” Lang smiled at the return of his feathered friend. Stretching his arm out, Guizhi flew and perched onto Lang’s arm. He asked “How was it?”
“Everyone except that short yellow baldy and that old man were still awake. Both of them seems to have some place they needed to be, and they’ll both be leaving in coming two weeks time.”
As both Duyi and Lang nodded, Duyi then noticed a small smirk had curved up onto Lang’s face, wondered “Did something come across your mind?”
Lang nodded and answered with now a wide child-like grin “Of course….~ Since great Grandmaster Omi would not be at the temple along with Jermaine’s descendant.... Perhaps…. A ‘trip’ to the Xiaolin temple would be the time to do so.”
OCs & Author note:
Lang:
A former Xiaolin monk whom defected and joined the Heylin Side
And as you’ve read, his form is as of now a child. Despite him knowing and being the same generation as Omi and the others.
The main big villian the young monks would’ve a hell time facing.
He have his own army of wolves like Chase, but difference is...
Lang’s army of wolves are brother and sister he known and was raised up with
The main wolf siblings have human form they are able to transformed into, which were given by Lang.
Being the one who brought them back to life, Lang had chose not to exercise his power to control each of their life. But he rather believe it’s their own freedom to live the life they want. So Lang gotten from his wolves is both respect and loyalty...
Excels highly in Heylin Magic and his own element of Metal, so he’s rather more of using Chi Magic and own element to do the fighting.
Had attempt to kill the young next Xiaolin Dragons when they were a child, but his plan failed.
He’s also the one who brought his siblings back to left when they had died hundred years back.
This drabble along with any of the moments he spend time with his siblings are moment he displayed rare emotions of sadness, guilt, warmth, actually able to smile and also joke with them...
If not otherwise, he would often act very childish like an actual child... While had no complete issue in killing people and screwing people up both physically and mentally.
One as already stated was willing to kill innocent people and just everyone around to kill the Xiaolin monks.
What he had in mind at the end of this drabble of visiting the temple is what I implied as himself most of the time... Basically something really horrible in mind....
Duyi:
Lang’s left-hand man
Often rather being stoic and calm
Helps to oversee things for Lang and also being very loyal to him
Does get rather annoyed at times, one being Shihong’s bloodthirsty self & Guizhi often teasing/poking fun at him for amusement
Holds a grudge against the Xiaolin monks for the death of his brother Tengfei. Compared to the other wolves, he and Guizhi takes it very personally because three of them raised and grew together.
Shihong:
One of his Lang's main wolves
Often display as a cool-headed person but often being bored with no fights to excite him
But actually has a strong sadistic and bloodthirsty side, and also ruthless in achieving his objective
Views human them as nothing but livestock to satisfy his hunger
Often roams around at night if he's particularly restless to hunt down animals & intruders to satisfy his bloodlust, but does bring back food of either human or animals for the pack to eat.
Dislike being on standby or watch guards or just anything that made him unable to have a fight
Tengfei:
Duyi's brother
Died during the massacre of the next young Xiaolin Dragons.
Lang commented that both Tengfei and Duyi shared similar habits and traits, such as where they would go when they can't sleep and their reaction towards Shihong's bloodthirsty habit.
Tengfei's death had held both Duyi and Guizhi particularly a personal grudge towards the Xiaolin monks.
Guizhi:
Lang's right-hand man & one of his two spies
Like the wolves, Guizhi is a raven also capable of transforming into a human form if he needs it.
He's more carefree and easygoing than Duyi, often enjoying to tease his friends and Lang at times
Warm and friendly towards the younger wolf pups in the pack
Beneath his carefree nature, Guizhi is also a cunning and deadly enemy to face. He's unwilling to use his full strength on his enemies, as believing it's a waste of effort to show them when they are about to die soon in his hands.
Holds a great personal grudge towards the Xiaolin Monk for Tengfei's death, often willing to volunteer himself if needed to have any of the monks beheaded.
Author's note:
It's a flashback drabble as stated again
But takes place way after Lang defected to the Heylin side
Lang's objective is for now ambiguous other than the whole trying to restore the world balance stuff, and killing the Xiaolin side is one big part of his goal to do so.
This drabble again as said is shown more of Lang's 'humane' side of his own regrets and his moments with his allies.
His past is also remain mystery for now, so leaving some holes here and there...
