But Xiaoxing definitely is more well-versed in his Baba’s abilities than his Dad’s, so he’s not helpless, he just has a more defensive and silent fighting style than he wished for😭😭

Collision Course AU (Cars)

(idk if I'll stick to this name,,,names are hard lmaooo)

Okay the main storyline is still up in the air since I have three different routes I could go with BUT I have everyone's basics down so let's do that💃💃💃

Main question: what are they racing on? Idk man I don't know the racing world that well but umm closed cars👍 NASCAR? Not knowing will not stop me!

Wukong

Top racer of his era, consecutive world champion (anyone who knows about car racing break it down for me below thanks❤️) veteran racer.

Grew up in the small town of Flower Fruit, a small beach town/fruit agricultural town, started racing in old cars until he found an underground racing circuit in his early teens and learned how to properly race from there. Thought about professionally racing but didn't have the means/sponsors to race professionally. He did start getting noticed by recruiters in the underground racing ring at some point.

When he was 19, he met Macaque for the first time when the other ended up in Flower Fruit by accident. He let the guy crash in his farm house, gave him a room and things to do around the farm, and then one day he just never left. They just kept living together and at one point they became more than friends.

When he was 21, some recruiters from a company called 'The Brotherhood' found him and presented a deal to Wukong, promising to give him his break in the professional league if he represented them. At 22, Wukong accepted, and soon after he was packing his bags to leave.

Wukong and Macaque have a big fight a la under the mountain, that they don't speak to each other for a decade after (not that they didn't try but for "mysterious reasons" they could never reach each other)

In that decade, Wukong went from never been seen before rookie, to a world renowned racer who raced in different circuits around the world. He left his partnership with The Brotherhood a few years in and was then recruited by JTTW, that was then a small company but soon grew into international popularity after he joined.

Wukong has no current plans to retire but still dreams of returning back to his home town and being with his loved one.

Macaque

Grew up in the city of LA, and for as long as he could remember was part of the underground racing rings there. When he was old enough to, he joined the street motorcycle racing rings, and although it took a lot of trial and error, he soon rose to the top.

At some point he was recruited to join the proper Junior League (JuniorGP) by a company called LBD, and even in the leagues he was still renowned and was predicted to become a runner up in the professional league once he came of age.

He proved the predictions correct by winning the world championship on his first year entering professionally. He was predicted to become one of the best in history, if he hadn't realized how predatory his contract with LBD was.

His snooping and consequent trying to break his contract landed him in hot water with LBD, that when he started racing the next year he just happened to have an accident in the race that left him heavily injured. Disqualifying him from participating that season.

Yet, he knew that wasn't enough for LBD, so as soon as he could, he ran, ending up in Flower Fruit where the locals were extremely welcoming.

Forming a relationship with Wukong, he soon found no reason to leave, and they lived peacefully for years until Wukong got his big break with a sponsor who would take him to race in the big leagues.

Macaque opposed this heavenly because he knew these types of people and he didn't want them to break Wukong like they did him, but Wukong thought he was being underestimated and left anyways.

Things happen and Macaque tries to reach out to Wukong only to be blocked every single time by his team, to the point that he gives up years later, not knowing that Wukong had also tried reaching him but to no avail. They just both stopped when they thought that the other didn't want to see them.

MK

I had a few people asking about MK's role and if you've been following my blog for as long as I've been here ya know ya boi isn't getting that big of a role lmaoo

MK is the season's new rookie, he was an up and coming junior racer who was recruited by 'JTTW' at the end of his junior year and this season is his first one racing in the professional leagues.

He was basically taken under Wukong's wing, who as a veteran racer, and still in his prime, felt like he should teach the kid the ropes, so they're basically mentor and mentee.

First to realize some sketchy stuff is happening within the circuit...

Extra Characters

Mei:

Part of JTTW, racing in their motorcycle division, big fan of Macaque and has always had conspiracy theories of what happened to him. Best buds with MK👍

Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy:

Part of Wukong's current crew, actual positions? Idk but they're a good crew.

Nuwa:

MK's mom. Idk if Pigsy would still be MK's dad but just know Nuwa is definitely his mom in this AU lmao

Bull Family:

DBK used to be in The Brotherhood with Wukong but after stuff happened and his relationship with motorcycle racer PIF came to light, the media didn't let them breathe. Wukong provided a distraction and directed them to Flower Fruit where they could lay low until they got back on their feet. They ended up never leaving and instead opened a family diner in the town.

Red Son took an apprenticeship in Macaque's mechanic shop.

Xiaoxing:

You guys thought I forgot about my boy, but naah.

He's the Things that happened that had Macaque trying to reach out to Wukong but kept getting blocked by The Brotherhood every single time. He thought of flying out and getting to Wukong physically, but because of his popularity he never really knew where the guy was, plus the threat of LBD kept Macaque in Flower Fruit waiting for a call or a visit but nothing happened.

The main plot is still in the works but it's definitely fun,,, I don't know if I'm gonna make comics of it or just write snippets💃💃💃

"You could never be Shadow the Hedgehog" IS A WICKED LINE, especially coming from a kid who's mom is literally your hero and mentor's Shadow(the Hedgehog)! Also unlike MK, this kid isn't running around with "motherless" behavior like a HOOLIGAN LMAO. Fr tho MK do you own no other clothing? You dress in the same thing every day, even train, work, and chill in the same outfit, like a damn cartoon character. 🙄

Wonder how he'll react when he finds out MK actually comes from a loving home with two dad's. Is free noodles actually married in this au? That'd be the Icing on the fucking cake. "Motherless² ass nerd" or more jealousy bc his dad's can't get their shit together.

I feel a potential child of divorce crash out stewing. "You already have your dad's. Why are you stealing mine!? Why are you ripping them apart more! Papa doesn't love us anymore, and it's all YOUR FAULT!(because if it's not, then we're not good enough- I'm just not good enough)"

Can you imagine MK trying hard to convince this crying kid that his dad definitely, full heartedly loves him, that his dads may not be together but they’re not together because they’re dumbasses who everyone can tell love each other but are too stubborn to see it

And above everything this kid, this kid who keeps curling in on himself making him look even more smaller and vulnerable, IS GOOD ENOUGH, no matter what anyone thinks, he has always been enough and his worth is not dictated whether someone loves him or not, but just him being here and alive makes him enough.

Cause I can see it like it's Xiaoxing that lure and attack MK just for curiosity/*seeing what make him so special that your own dad will chose to train him rather than you*
