Maybe he wasn’t doing anything suspicious, but being far bigger than most it often raised alarm in the heads of some. Joseph wouldn’t pick a fight if he could help it, but sometimes fights found him.

These nights he hated the most, where exhaustion had him evading sleep and despite how utterly spent his mind was.. it wouldn’t stop buzzing with thoughts. Thoughts of work; codes, ciphers, adjustments, techniques. And thoughts more personal, of his fellow Navigators, his friendships and fights, his superiors and rumors. And.. his Fighter.

Cain.

The cold, empty space beside him burned with loneliness and there wasn’t an inch of contact or mindless pleasure for him to drown his doubts in.

He called you a slut.

Abel had blocked that. Ignored it. Praxis was... biased. He couldn’t believe it. He had to take that man’s words with a grain of salt.

That look in his eyes...

When he’d called him by his name. Just when they’d really begun to connect. Abel sighed and closed his eyes, trying to will his mind blank. Whenever he’d doubted in the past, whenever he’d dug for answers... Abel had never liked what he’d discovered.

He couldn’t lose what he had here.

“The trouble maker returns, what a joy.” Was all he had to say once he saw Cain walk down the corridor. It was hard not to show how much he disliked the other after the utiity incident. At least the Wolf was trying to be a bit more friendly towards the Dog.

       Patience was already strained from the stress of his own Fighter’s deliberate defiance against him. Creative differences as some would call it. Hesperus chose to be blunt about what it exactly was – Dead weight. Fighters were useless as far as he was concerned. Their job could be done by only one person rather than having an extra body taking space. Eyeing Cain for a moment, he exhaled his cigarette over his shoulder and sighed. “I don’t believe anyone offered you an invitation.”

Tbqfh yes. Even if starfighter is a r18 webcomic and i even made a nsfw sideblog i just can hardly talk smut.

ha ha funny. i mean, i enjoy exploring relationships and such, but yeah, exploring other things, too has been becoming something i crave. maybe that’s why i brought out a darker character.

//i think that’s a reason why i’ve sort of been iffy with my writing lately. i think there’s some people who expect smut in the long run or something and sometimes you just wanna write and develop things because going straight into baseless smut is a little boring. I like things drawn out and relationships to grow as a whole before something like that happens.
