A/n: hello everyone! Xinyan has been on my mind recently and I wanted to make headcanons for her! She’s one of my favorite genshin characters, she’s just so cool!!! I really liked making this, so I hope you enjoy reading it! Also have a stupendous day/afternoon/night (can you tell I’m running out of ways to say “have a good day”)

I feel like before you’re relationship, and when xinyan just realized she had a crush on you, she’d just be like... ❤️👄❤️ every time she sees you. She’s just so captivated by you, like she genuinely just wants to be near you because you seem so cool to her.

Xinyan is a very outgoing person and I don’t think it was particularly hard for her to confess, but it was more planing when/where/how to confess that was difficult. She wanted to confess is a really cool way, and while she’s insanely creative, she wanted it to be something you like and that you’ll be impressed by.

Now when you do actually get into a relationship, I think you’d find out quickly that her love languages are gifts, and words of affirmation. She really likes giving you things, and seeing your face light up with every gift. But she also likes dedicating/ making songs for you that hold a special meaning. She’s not shy when it comes to anything (except frogs which... same) and that includes you. So expect lots of gifts, and lots of sweet words from her.

I don’t think xinyan is overly cuddly, but she does enjoy a good cuddle session once and a while. She won’t say no to you if you ask, but it also isn’t a daily thing you know? I think she’s especially warm, and she can’t sit still. It’s not b cause she needs to constantly do something, it’s mostly because she just moves around a lot naturally. Like in her sleep, you’ll go to sleep spooning her (yes I think she’s little spoon) and then wake up with you both almost falling off the bed.

Very, very, very adamant about you going to her concerts. She’ll understand if you’re busy or can’t make it, though she’ll be really disappointed. She always puts you backstage so you’re super close, or right in the front row. She loves seeing you in the crowd, it’s always the highlight of her night. And then after every concert she’ll go with you to get food, she likes interacting with her fans of course! But, going to get some amazing food from wanmin restaurant is even better.

Xinyan isn’t really the jealous type, more protective type I guess. She just wanted to make sure you’re not uncomfortable/ in any danger all the time. She does get worried about you, but won’t restrict you from doing anything. She gets it, she doesn’t like being tied down either, so she’s not gonna make you do the same. That wouldn’t be fair. She’s also pretty trusting, if you say you’re going to go hang out with chongyun, and xingqiu? Then ok have fun, and tell them she said hi! She’s gonna stay home and work on some music.

Fair warning, if you go anywhere with her and you see a frog. She will jump into your arms and won’t get down until the frog leaves. It’s literally her one weakness, she can handle spicy food that’s literally on fire?! But not frogs?

I think to sum up your relationship, it’d be very loud and a bit chaotic at times. She just wants to have fun, and explore! But she wants to share that all with you!

All in all, xinyan is a 11/10 girlfriend and I want her to Mary me ❤️💍
