The idea of the Sigma Gun being used for violence is kind of ridiculous. Literally anything can be a weapon if the person using it is determined enough; and, sure, you might be able to smack people into things if the beam is strong enough, but with the core design, the only easy way to actually injure someone with it would be smacking them over the head with it. You know what can also be used to smack people over the head? A baseball bat. Use that. (Sorry for this not being a proper ask, btw.)
