Mary was on a mission, and that mission was coffee because it was way too early for her to be awake without at least one cup in her.
Such was her hurry, she didn’t quite manage to sidestep the person ahead of her, bumping into his arm and foot as she moved.
“Sorry,” she offered, turning and holding up her cup as a way of explanation.
“I’m not me before coffee.”
