karuta said as he facetimed you, laying in his bed, it was the holiday season. the season you both dreaded the most.
you and karuta were dating for a few months but got intimately close even if you two lived far apart. that didn't stop him from chasing you like a puppy.
"i miss you too, ruta. but! maybe i'll be home for christmas~" y/n said baring a smile
karuta sighed as his heart melt when he saw your smile "i hope so...where are you? it sounds like your around people." he said growing curiosity.
"i'm walking right now. what would do if i was there with you?" y/n asked innocently.
karuta scoffed "i would hug the living crap out of you, girl and then..." he looked away as his face turned cherry red. "...ummm– i‐i would hug you tightly okay?" he muttered.
y/n let out a small laugh at her boyfriends cuteness "okay ruta. before i go , you're at home right?" y/n asked him.
"where else would i be? why? are you planning something for me?" karuta said suspiciously.
"nooo... okay. bye, ruta!" you said quickly hanging up the phone.
"no wait–! dang it!" karuta said laughing as you hung up on him. he stared at his home screen photo of you and him posing in a goofy way.
that feeling of isolation began to crept in as karuta began to scroll through many photos of you and him in his gallery. he longed and internally begged for you to be in his presence.
hours passed until he heard a knock at his door, confused on who could be knocking on his door at this hour. he walked towards his door and swung it open "hello–?"
"surprise!" y/n said with her arms open as karuta stood there with his jaw dropping.
karuta quickly grabbed his girlfriend and pulled her inside spinning her in the air while giggling happily "you're here! you're actual here!" he said excitedly.
he held y/n bridal style and covered her with kisses, then carried you to his bed and plopped you down "oh my gosh! you made it!" karuta said in amazement. "how?" he asked.
"i made some arrangements here and there and boom!" y/n sat on the bed and caressed karuta's face and got closer to him "since i'm here now..." y/n suddenly slammed a snowball in karuta's face and began to laugh manically.
"you serious?" he said wiping off the snow.
"yup!" y/n said quickly leaving the house towards outside.
"i love you so much." he said excitedly chasing you outside for a snowball fight.
