I constantly see posts on my dash talking about the G1 vs. G3 Monster High debate and apparent arguments and hate going on, and I feel a bit like xkcd 2071 here because I've mercifully managed to avoid all that? I myself am unashamed to love and critique both incarnations and I feel like I'm sitting in a field with my pretty G1 and G3 dolls while people are being spun up in a tornado circling out of the corners of my eyes. I'm sorry to hear there's such animosity about these silly glam monster toys, but from where I'm standing, there is absolutely a place of peace to be found where that debate doesn't get into your life.

I manage to avoid most discourse firsthand, but that leads to me reading a bunch of responses to the discourse that just sound like “actually, it’s important to remember that eating babies is bad”. Like, I didn’t know that was ever in contention, but I’m glad we’re all on the same page now.
