Nadja kept the human man pinned beneath her body - as petite as the ballerina's body might have been, there was so much strength and power behind it. Both of them knew that she didn't need to use any of it to keep him underneath her, it was right where they both wanted him to be. She knew that Dom certainly wouldn't be complaining. ❝ I keep wanting you in unimaginable ways, ❞ she whispered, her lips ghosting over his own without kissing him completely, just to keep him wanting.

                             HAVING A FLAT TIRE ALWAYS SUCKS. Having no cell reception on an empty road that meanders through a gigantic forest sucks even more. Steve blows out his breath as the sun creeps closer and closer to the horizon, causing the trees to cast long shadows that look like black fingers reaching for them. His eyes flicker toward Dom. "You know, I'm reasonably sure we could take a shortcut through the woods and reach that little town we passed earlier in maybe an hour," he suggests. Does he want to walk through the dark, creepy forest? Not really. But it's better than having to stay the night in the car. Also, he hiked through countless woods at night back during the war; this is nothing: Nobody shoots at you, at least.
