Imagine Karin crawling into bed with Danielle and Erik and clinging to Erik because she had a bad dream and daddy/Mr. Erik (depends on the verse) is a lot scarier than the monsters in her nightmares.

Erik: *yanks Karin to him and curls around her hissing* MY PRECIOUS BBY! NO SPOILING!

Karin: *best 'dad plz' face**pulls out of his grip just enough to free her hands so she can sign* Told you he'd take it well.

I like to imagine Erik, Danielle, and Karin being a happy family. Doing family things like going to the park and catching fireflies. 

It’s incredibly ooc for Erik but it makes me happy.

The only reason Magneto and Maria Hill are enemies is that they are on opposite sides.

Of genetics, of the law, of right and wrong. 

They would, of course, debate which was which for each of them.

Other than their respective sides and the focus of their beliefs, those same beliefs are eerily similar.

Their personalities are not all that dissimilar, given the difference in ages and cultures.

She’s what he could have been had he taken a different path, or rather had a different path been left open to him.

He is what she could have been had she not joined the Marines. Well, she’d have been less cool and less successful, because she isn’t a mutant.

But still. Everything could have been so much different.

“Erik?” Danielle called weakly when she heard someone come in, trying her best to prop herself up in her bed so she could see them better. 14 hours of labor did quite a number on one’s body and it showed. She was happy though, she’d given birth to a healthy baby girl, and as far as she was concerned the pain was worth it. “Have you seen her? She’s so beautiful Erik. So beautiful, and healthy. Genuinely healthy.”

Her daughter being healthy had surprised her. She’d thought for sure something would go wrong thanks to her DNA, but nothing had. It was a miracle.
