He usually doesn’t do this strictly for sneaking, but when he has a good reason; he’s been known to indulge in subterfuge on occasion.

An example is now, as he utilizes what he’d learned from Gabriel and Jesse about sliding in unnoticed and unannounced right into the middle of the infamous Deadlock Gorge. Bypassing the sentries had been easy- as the badlands are big and wide, and there’s always multiple entrances and exits to anything.

And having access to unusual tech had left him with an entire dossier devoted to a certain Elizabeth Ashe.

She’s not a bad woman, per se- but the old drill sargent in him thinks she could have done so much better with her life and her advantages. Still, she was a definite part of Jesse’s life, and Jesse IS important to him-

—one of the last few friends he has, really- next to Ana and Lena.

So that in her living suite, on the table- is left a single wrapped gift in his signature blue and white with red accents. It’s not much, pictures he’s pulled from different archives of her and the Deadlock gang in a piece of wallart made to look like a tree. He’s in and out as soon as he can, hopping onto the Honda 758-V he’d purloined as fast as he can.

And back out onto the road- as if he’d never been.
