Approximately 70 revellers from the extended Doğanköy family spent a very social few hours at Al Shaheen Restaurant in Karakum on Wednesday 13th December for their annual Christmas Luncheon. As well as excellent food, served up by Imtiaz and his team, the raffle raised slightly in excess of 1,000 TL for Association funds, directed at both upkeep of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and other needs relating to the  villagers in Doğanköy.

With the last guests exiting the restaurant well after 6.00pm, they all had a very enjoyable afternoon partaking of a couple of drinks and discussing the various topics of the day.

The next Association event is the regular fortnightly Saturday morning sale at Doğanköy Muhtalik, which will be at 10am this coming Saturday 16th December.
