A small package covered in red wrapping paper is left in front of the door, a golden bow with a small letter tucked underneath attached to it. With a neat handwriting and decorated with small hearts this letter has the intention of making the receiver happy, or at least bring a smile to their face.
I know this is late but Merry belated Christmas my friend! ‘The best is yet to come’, right? And now the best finally arrived, with more than one week delay. Blame this lazy Santa, I bet if someone paid him he would work faster. Anyways, I will use this chance and wish you a Happy New Year as well, so this lateness comes kind of handy I think. PS: I got your presents done before I went to LA, but the letter was a spontaneous idea. It’s more personal like this, right? Without further ado I will start now.
Dear Mark, the first person I thought of when I saw this cute little fox was you, can you guess why? Stupid question, of course you can. On another note, didn’t you have this orange-reddish kind of hair once? I think your hair was more red than orange though, but I think it still matches. Sadly I didn’t find something else that could match you, or that you could like so instead you get a free meal from a star cook– aka me. Doesn’t that sound nice? So think of anything you like and I will get it for you, anytime you want. This is also a small souvenir from LA and I hope you like it. Thank you for the awesome time I had with you since the day we met, and I hope we can have much more together? I appreciate you a lot, because you’re definitely one who helped me to grow out of my shy shell. A true friend I value, and a true friend I don’t want to lose. ( Dare to call me ghei and I will fite u. )
In love, Hwang Sophie, your baby toddler in crime
