Today I received word that a friend of mine, Kira ( xntegra ], passed away today. I will admit, I did not know her as well as some of my other friends in the community. But this does not erase the fact that she was a beautiful person OOC in the time I came to know her. She made her account on Integra little over two months ago. I spotted her in the Hellsing RP tag then, and was amazed at what I saw. The characterization of her muse was stunning. The grasp, the exposition: it was really like reading Integra come to life. Her graphics were stunning, her blog completely unlike anything I've ever seen, but... In the time I knew her offline, once the roleplays were done, I saw a brilliant, gleaming star. An inextinguishable person of an unrivaled brilliance. She was strong. She was someone I looked up to considerably. In the times we exchanged jokes and squealed in excitement over BOFA, all those times we spoke and reconciled and just came to know each other as friends. She was someone I think everyone would've wanted to know, no matter the fandom. I remember she told me that she roleplayed Galadriel, or had once, in writing this I've come to a decision: Once I refurbish my LOTR AU, I am going to dedicate it to her memory, so no one can forget her. And I will roleplay in it with her in mind, in her memory, and I hope all who look on it will know and remember, too.
