i find myself writing this right now because i remembered that i'm having fun, but i'm also grieving.

grieving for the ones that left us too early, lost friendships, lost memories, and the lost me.

you'd think after losing so much, one would get used to it.

but life doesn't work that way.

if anything, it hurts, even more, every time it happens.

because the more i grow up, the more i care, the more i love and the more emotions i experiment in my day-to-day life.

i don't hold anything against myself for being the way i am and feeling the way i feel. i just wish fewer people would leave me.

but i felt. and i grieve. and eventually i'll move on.

you felt like home.

why did you leave?

was i not good enough?
