A quick #run today, but had to share the new hotness - @inov_8 X-Talon 225. The extra weight compared to the 190s (35g or 1.2oz) is all lean weight put towards reinforcing the weaker areas under the shoe while maintaining a true running shoe fit, mostly felt in the toes and arches. For a minimalist trail shoe, these things feel almost bulletproof! We'll see how they hold up as the miles increase, but the more #OCR shoes I test out, the more #inov8 provides the best balance of speed, traction, and support race after race.
