being intersex is quite possibly the most isolating thing i’ve ever experienced. all my life, i felt alone. that no one in the world knew what was wrong with me. that i was a weird, abnormal freak.

i felt horrible. and so, i made sure that i would make people like me feel seen

every day, i see people sharing the terms i created, talking about how relatable they are. when i first saw someone talking about how seen they felt (i love you smilepilled!!!!) my heart was a damn opera, it was singing so much!

while things are pretty bad right now, i’m grateful to have provided a little bit of comfort to those who need it

Questioning NtN/XtX culture is it feels more accurate for me to contextualize me being nonbinary in the same way that FtF and MtM get described for other trans people (always have been that thing regardless of transition, your transition is supposed to just bring you closer to your personal ideal of that thing), but I’m scared of being assumed to be intersex.

I think XtX is more associated with intersex people and NtN is more of an equivalent to MtM/FtF? But I’m perisex so I don’t really know.
