First act: Yi City. XingChen saves the unknown man and lives with him and A-Qing in idyllic (AH!) domesticity for the following 3 years. Then things happens. Bad sad tragic things happen. XingChen's souls is shattered, Xue Yang stays to watch over his body. You can't tell me that his theme song didn't make you cry. Yi City arc. End of first act.

Second act: Xue Yang is reincarnated. Doesn't matter much in which historical period. Shitty despicable life once again but he feels like he's missing something, someone. Wasn't someone supposed to be there to give him candies? Kind words? A second chance to be a better person, even if it's all fake? In lack of better option, he soldiers on with his criminal life. One night he thinks he feels a pull, someone's call. He turns around. There's no one but a man who doesn't look much alive. His sight doesn't awaken anything in Xue Yang if not dislike, and yet he can't shake off the pull on the string of his heart. It feels like home and taking care of each other. Too bad that he has a commission to finish. He proceeds on his way. The pull is felt never again. End of second act.
