Working on a new fantasy setting I’m dubbing ‘Splitworld’. I’m reimagining some characters and settings i made in 2020-2021.

Meet Kree’gaw, the scribemaster. (Yes i shamelessly based him off of the skeksis. skekok is my wife of many years)

An old Azhaarki scholar who left his people after growing frustrated with their customs, which he perceived as shallow and redundant. He migrated to the kingdom of Gomela for a fresh start and new philosophies, eventually landing himself a cushy hot shot job in the royal palace’s vast libraries. Years of the same routine wore him down; locking away world-changing discoveries in a glorified dungeon and witnessing the once progressive and prosperous kingdom descend into ignorance and materialism has made Kree’gaw jaded and cynical about Gomela’s future. His job is lonely and mind-numbing, and his lust for discovery has been buried under layers of hopelessness.

Still, beneath his icy exterior, he has a soft heart, particularly for the bookish Gomelan princess. He served as more of a father to her than the King.
