sophelstien tagged me in something really similar to this a while back and I forgot to do it so this is gonna be a two-for-one-er. Five things that make me happy!!

1. Waking up early enough to drink tea before I have to get to work/ class/ or whatever else I’m up to!

2. Sewing! I might complain about it when I HAVE to do it, but over all sewing makes me really happy! Especially when I try on something I’ve made for myself and it fits. I can’t think of anything more gratifying tbh

3. Aquariums! When I was little I used to stay with my nanny (grandma) over the summer while my parents were at work. There’s a really big aquarium in New Orleans that she used to take me to all the time so we could get out of the heat. So being in aquariums makes me really happy because it reminds me of those times and I’m extra happy if the aquarium has jellyfish!

4. Costume Paperwork! I’ve worked as an assistant designer a couple of times, and something about making budgets and pieces lists, and pretty much any type of costume related paperwork makes me smile. I dunno what it is. Something about nicely made paperwork just makes my little heart sing. 

5. Cooking! I really like making food for other people! Especially if it’s a recipe from the homeland.

falls asleep on the couchboth of them. they can take some epic wicked naps - especially shinkai after he ate his weight in powerbars and is going into a food coma

makes friends with the neighborsshinkai. arakita kind of...barks at them and it scares the kids.

is the adventurous eatershinkai does; he loves sweets and all sorts of things. arakita just loves eating really bland fast food

hogs the covers at nightarakita. shinkai is kind of hot and doesn't need as many covers.

forgets to do the dishesarakita. dishes are for chumps...until he needs dishes. even then, he'd just put aluminum foil in the same dirty bowl and cover the spoon with it and eat cereal for days

tries to surprise their partner more oftenshinkai...which pisses arakita off.

leaves dirty laundry on the floorarakita. laundry. laundry everywhere. why put it away when you're just going to wear it?

stays up til 2 AM readingshinkai. to the point, where he'll hide under the covers so arakita can't yell at him for the light being blinding and keeping him awake.

sings in the showerarakita. he'd hum show themes and curse out loud when 'hime hime' slips out of his mouth.

Ship Thingy: Kaneki and Ayato

send me a ship and i’ll answer:

who takes longer showers?ayato. kaneki doesn't trust showers - especially long ones - after...that day.

how do they make up after a fight?they fist bump it out, then proceed to argue about how weak of a fist bump that was. more so, on ayato's end.

who prefers rain and who prefers sun?kaneki likes the sun; it's easier to read with sunlight. his books just get all soggy. ayato isn't too particular. he's used to hiding anyway.

what’s their favorite place to go together?

aogiri. it's very romantic.

who’s more likely to be voted prom king/queen?most likely ayato. he wouldn't even try and automatically get voted. that makes him definitely sure that nico is behind it.

do they celebrate anniversaries, etc.?brooding in a corner.

who’d pressure the other into singing karaoke?neither would do karaoke. they'd just sit there and watch naki make a fool of himself.

what’s their nightly routine?a majestic walk through ward 20. trying not to get captured by the CCG.

who’s more likely to burn dinner?considering they eat raw meat, neither one.
