“I started smoking when I was like fifteen and never got caught. I don’t smoke anymore, but back in the day I thought I looked cool and was edgy. I was the only one of my friends that smoked too, so I guess that added to the appeal.”

“I really wish that I was one of those crafty people who could make things really easily and it not look like total actual trash. My mother loves to drag me to those crafting party things every so often, and I fucking suck at it.”

10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?

Too fucking many to count. I do recognize them as such, but I don’t really like talking about them. I don’t let myself get too close to people because I am literally paranoid that I am a curse or a disease and everyone is going to die and I’ll be left alive...again. 

22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

I’m going to doodle song lyrics that I like or write my name in cursive a million times if we’re being honest. 

30. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)

I’m shutting the fuck down. There’s nothing else that can be said.

Never really thought about it. I’ve seen evil, so I guess there’s more fucked up shit out there that we can’t really explain.

Shadowy ruins, armoire in the attic

shadowy ruins - If you had to conceal yourself from someone, where would you hide?

“Well, I’ve certainly become quite good at hiding…as well as running away. I guess, if I really had to, that’s what I would do: just get as far away as possible and go somewhere that I’d never be found. Anywhere that I had to, as long as I could still have a life out in the open, as much as possible. I hate the thought of being cut off from the rest of the world.” Again.

armoire in the attic - Have you ever hidden anything away? What and why? 

“Before I came to Tulpa, I was never any good at hiding things. I was a terrible liar. Once, when I was a child, I found a kitten that had been caught in a chain link fence. I helped her get free, and took care of her until she was well enough to walk again. She followed me around after that, and I hid her from my parents. She was the first real friend I ever had. I called her Sylvia. But of course, inevitably, my parents found out, and made me turn her loose. They said that it wasn’t our place to create a bond with nature and its creatures. That they weren’t ‘sacred,’ like we were.”
