1) I now slightly ship Amourshipping because the anime is making it painfully obvious

2) SERENA HAS BEEN HERE FOR LIKE 30 EPISODES AND SHES GETTING OBVIOUS ROMANCE WITH ASH BUT TEAM ROCKET HAS BEEN HERE FOREVER AND THEY WONT MAKE THEM CONFESS. RAGE RAGE RAGE  hi yeah wow so it's a rapidly spreading ship

"He's going to be mine someday, I promise you." Serena's rival wrapped her arms around tensed shoulders, pressing close and lowering her voice. "Next time, I'll blow everyone away with my cooking, to the point that nothing other than first place matters." Serena knew more comments attempting to ruffle her composure or produce a blush rushed from the blue-haired girl, but the brunette could only focus on the warm air tickling her ear, her cheek. Her heart rate picked up as arms tightened slightly around her shoulders, the cushion of breast against her back. At the trill of a comment intended to unnerve her, Serena squeaked softly, unable to focus on anything except the closeness of her rival. The arms loosened slightly, giving Serena's heart the moment it needed to slow slightly. "Hey, Serena? You ok?" The previously hypnotizing voice asked, much farther from her ear than a few seconds before. She turned to face the minute confusion in brown eyes, so unlike his but so intriguing all the same. "Yeah, I uh." What HAD they been talking about? "Hey girls, come on, Clemont says the next cook-off is in a couple miles!" His voice, previously the material of dreams, sounds much less riveting now. "Uh, come on, bet you I'll win," Serena winked in the face of uncertainty, so ready to return attraction in a method new to her, a confident bluster. A smirk now familiar to her highlighted her rival's face. "Oh yeah? In your dreams." With a glance to her Slurpuff, blue bolted off to join the others. Serena grinned to herself, motioning to Fennekin. "Yeah, my dreams."

Okay episode.

Not much to say otherwise. I like how the rivalry between Milfy and Serena had nothing to do with Ash and moreso just about baking the past pastries or whatever. I liked that Serena was being somewhat proactive here when it came to getting to the source of the problem (still needed to be saved but still)

TR slowed the episode down to a crawl as usual and that was the weakest part like it ALWAYS IS WITH A TR APPEARANCE IN AN EPISODE. Ash did his big hero thing BUT im okay with it here because Clemont is the one who came up with the plan that Ash implemented AND Serena and Milfy still pitch in the fight (Fennekin fighting back horaay)

But that last line by Milfy, ugh, that left a bad taste in my mouth. I snicerley hope she was just joking just for the sake of trolling Serena, the last thing we need is some lame love triangle.

Average episode, next one looks better (and hey, more proactive Serena it seems).
