Anger: Raven || Red X
It had been a particularly uneventful day, and most of the team had gone out somewhere. She couldn't remember where, exactly. She hadn't been interested. Being the big socialite that she was, she elected to stay behind, the idea of some quiet alone-time too tempting to pass up.
Raven had taken to working out in the base's gym in the later evening hours or when no one was around. Not only was she overthinking things, the stress she was accumulating from all of the people surrounding her as a result of her being an empath was piling on like a load of bricks. Meditation only did so much, and she'd found working up a sweat helped somewhat.
Dawned in the civilian workout clothing that was graciously lent to her by her new team, she made her way into the training room. Starting up one of the treadmills, she began to run. She wasn't particularly good at it, but it was a challenge and got the job done. She found she thought fairly clearly when running. It was almost on par with meditating.
It just isn't right. They're the bad guys. They're not supposed to be fighting along side our team, my friends, when so recently we've clashed on opposite sides of the battle field. I won't trust them. I can't. Plain and simple. Jinx is... less concerning than Red X. She is more open with her ideals, and while she is certainly not the hero type, has some good in her. With X-- I don't know. I can't tell. From the very start I haven't known what his motives were. I can't shake the suspicion that he will turn on us the second things become inconvenient for him.
Selfish gain is his game.
"He has no place on this team," she huffed, not realizing she had stated this out loud. Slowing the machine to a walking pace, she breathed deeply, equally as much to catch her breath as it was to calm herself down.
"Not if I have a say in it."
