Xysto

A Greek/Italian name, meaning 'Polished'. It is a go-between of Greek Xystos and Italian variant Sisto (to be honest I love all three of these options).

Pronounced ZISS-toe, it blends well with other popular boys names ending in O, like Arlo, Cisco and Zeno. It also fits with popular Z sounding names, such as Xavier, Zain, Zach and Xander.

The original name that begat Xysto, Xystos and Sisto is Sixtus, this Roman name belonged to a number of Popes. Another additional variant is the French Sixte (pronounced SIKST)
