Hi, I was just wondering if you knew, are the toushirous related in a way, or is just for the game?

Ichigo Hitofuri, Gokotai, and all of the Toushirous are “brothers” because they were all made by the same person: Yoshimitsu Awataguchi. This is also why this group is also referred to as the Awataguchi-gumi (粟田口組).

Extra: Nakigitsune was forged by Kuniyoshi Awataguchi, who was Yoshimitsu Awataguchi’s master. So while he’s technically not “one of the bros,” he’s included in the Awataguchi-gumi.

How do you know so much about the history behind touken ranbu? :o

Google, primarily www. I also have one or two Japanese history buff friends who also play Touken Ranbu.

Hanging around on Twitter all day helps too, since I follow a ton of Japanese users, and when there’s hype and people want more information, I’ll usually see retweets all over the place with info.

What do you think about the new sword in touken ranbu?

Going to reserve most of my judgment on Fudou until he’s released, but I am looking forward to seeing how he interacts with the rest of the Odagumi. He’s a tantou who was lovingly given to Mori Ranmaru by Oda Nobunaga, and maybe when they were together at the Honnouji incident, Fudou was the tantou Ranmaru used to commit seppuku and follow Nobunaga into death... (?) Who knows.

And it’s true that he burned, but he was actually reforged at some point and is still around in a private collection. Here are some photos.

What will make him feel better?

((I honestly don’t really know… I mean, not having to see Len again is a big one but probably, more or less, just not existing? As harsh as it sounds, considering he planned the whole thing, he obviously is unhappy with everything as it is, and having ever been in a relationship with Len really upsets him to think about. I honestly have no idea how to make him happy sadly…))
