On Shakespeare

I read a fanfiction based on Twelfth Night and went on to read the play because I thought it was hilarious.

I watched a movie based on To Tame a Shrew and still think it was the funniest things I’d seen at the time.

I read a comic of Midsummer Nights dream and memorized half of Puck’s ending speech.

I tried to read Julius Ceasar straight from the book and struggled with it until I was bored out of my skull. To this day all I can remember is the most famous line (which I have no idea how to spell).

Sometimes it isn’t the subject, but the way it’s being studied. You aren’t stupid for not understanding it, because, honestly, the medium can make all the difference.
