why have there been so many shit-awful takes on fanfiction lately. like i assume some new tier of hell has opened up its discourse-infested maw to devour us all but i hope it doesn’t get worse than it already is (i say like i haven’t been on this site for 8 years and seen what happens every fucking time)
Lupe refs I made for artfight... I'm on team werewolf but I may as well throw one of my vampires out there. For everyone on team vampire to chew on.
He's actually based on an fr dragon I made to wear this one specific festival skin, which I think you can still kind of tell... but at some point in designing him I did go "Oh god damn it. God damn it I have made vampire Leon Belmont, the one thing I said I'd never do."
Anyways. short info sections under cut.
LUPE
Known as the White Wolf of the North, the silent and fearsome royal guard to Ladislav, the lord of the vampires. No one quite knows who he is, or where and when he came from - except that he must be old, long lived even if physically young. No one has ever heard him speak, nor has anyone ever seen his face beneath his wolf mask. He's rarely seen alone, usually all but glued to Ladislav's side.
ROLAND
Sweet and unassuming, Roland is a bit of an odd one. He has no taste for vampire social politicking, which tends to trade in barbed insults and violent (if usually empty) threats. As a result, he tends to place fairly lowly on the vampire social scale, for someone who seems to hang around Important Vampire Places quite often. He's very softspoken, and has the aura of someone who's an easy pushover. Most vampires who assume this of him and try to take advantage come out of the experience quite bewildered and feeling like they rather more helped him than they meant to.
His exact age is unknown, and guesses tend to place him as "fairly young", maybe Victorian era if they must guess - but there's some inconsistancies, some turns of phrase he uses that feel much older, some vampires swearing they've seen him before, and a name straight out of medieval times. But the age of a vampire is a very important social factor, and so if he were truly that old, he'd feel like someone with more power. ...Right?
-Deeply in love with Ladislav; the two of them knew each other since before becoming vampires. Ladislav turned him willingly, and he in turn killed the vampire who turned Ladislav, since Ladislav couldn't.
-Ladislav is like. Aware of this and Also has feelings but thinks it's too complicated due to Lupe's position relative to his own, and also because he turned Lupe and therefore has some amount of power over him, even if he doesn't ever exercise it
-Lupe Does Not Care though. lol
-Over a thousand at this point
-Keeps Roland as a fairly separate identity because he thinks that if people find out who he is under the wolf cloak, it will entirely defang him as a threat. It's unclear if this would or wouldn't be true, but it's what he thinks, so!
