ALSO this is not exclusive to this fic, but i usually get Vague Ideas and if those ideas do not fit regular shovson first, i try fem!shovson second, and if neither shovsons fit into the ideas well enough i flip through the catalogue of ships that i could potentially write. so in this case i was like "yeahhh slurping champagne out of each other's mouths is definitely a fem!shovson thing"
