i like the idea of cdream being taller than most of the server but very tiny conpared with csam and ctechno for different reasons.

I think csam would like that cdream its so tall but so tiny and helpless agaist him, like i'm sure he ft some sorry if sactisfaction in manhandling him like a doll and thinking " You were so Big and powerful but you're so small and weak in My hands, i could crush You righ now if i wanted to" and cdream it's terrified bc it's true and having this imbalance plus the others imbalances he has with csam makes him so scared.

With ctechno it's different, he's so strong and Big and could crush dream's rib cage with very little streght and sometimes his shadow looks very similar to the warden. But unlike cSam he doesn't grab dream to humiliate him or make him feel helpless. He takes dream in his hands to hug him and ctechno's streght and height make dream feel secure bc he can break him anytime but he knows that he'll only receive kind, loving and gentle touches from ctechno

exactly !! u get it !!! Dream isn't small by any means, but Sam is just so much bigger, both as a person and physically. Both in the authority he has and actually. Sam is bigger, and stronger, and takes pride in reducing the big bad monster to something small, something he could break with just his hands. It's a part of the reason why he starved him.

Being with Techno, first feels similar. It's terrifying. (he swears Techno might even be physically stronger than Sam. His hands certainly are bigger.) But Techno is gentle. Techno scoops him up - not to humiliate him - not to show him (I am big, and I am strong, and I hold authority over you) but to say (I will protect you. You have authority in this situation. If you tell me to let you go I will.)

it's the difference! it makes all the difference that Techno is so capable of harming him but refuses to. (because it diffuses a lot of what Sam used to say.) (maybe it's not that hard to love him. maybe he wasn't just that easy to hurt. maybe it is Sams fault. Maybe Sam just shouldn't have hurt him.)

(it hurts. if he's this easy to love why was it so easy for Sam to hurt him?)

i wonder why yaft!sam does everything he does to dream and his dauther? like what's his motivation?

A lot of it is genuinely not viewing them as people. A lot of it is viewing them as pure evil, and so, he gets to do whatever he wants to them, without having to feel bad. He's kinda, always been like that, but he doesn't really like hurting people if it'll hurt his image. It's less bad to hurt someone who's bad etc.

He's just kinda messed up in the first place and having people who he can view as solely evil gives him a catalyst.

poor yalf!dream like imagine being a short little guy a then a scary massive creeper comes and towers over you and a kind piglin saves you but he towers over you too and you get flashbacks of the massive creeper

he isn't even such a short little guy! it's just that Sam and Techno are absolutely fucking massive. it's just such a conflicting emotion. He still trusts Sam somewhere, too, after all. But he's scary. makes his stomach churn. Something is wrong with it.

Techno makes him feel safe. He trusts him. (even if he's a little scary too. just comes with being so tall and so capable of manhandling him!) But when he can hardly rely on his perception it's difficult to differentiate them.
