This beautiful photo of Olga Smirnova was to announce that she would be participating at #YAGP2018. It saddens me that politics prevented her from attending the competition and mentoring aspiring artists. I usually reserve my political opinions for Twitter but this was wrong. Art should never become a victim of politics. As an American I’m stunned that this happened to such a tremendous artist.
