This Day In Dodgers History: Don Drysdale & Sandy Koufax Begin Spring Training Holdout

Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale began their double holdout during Spring Training on this day in Los Angeles Dodgers history.

I reference Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale in my last Immaculate Grid post. Both took a stand that they were being underpaid by the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers Peter O'Malley and decided to hold out for a better contract before the 1966 season. It is an case of two superstars taking a stand for a better contract against management together. Its an interesting read.
