A very brief explanation of Black Sea’s kingdoms
(I’ll probably go in depth abt them in another post, btw)
Dristor - Mostly known for it’s army and imperialistic ways. Has recently conquered Choel, and Acalia is quickly falling under their blades too. Their armies are strong and skilled, and no one knows what they are. It’s population is mostly humans, and faes are strongly oppressed.
Khanao - Mostly known for their precious stones and fine fabrics. Though the north is cursed with merciless droughts and countless deserts, is one of the wealthiest kingdoms of the south. Ruled by a five different councils. It’s population is very mixed, being one of the most accepting of half-faes.
Choel - Mostly known for it’s revolutionary agriculture. Used to have an elected diarchy, which was replace by two permanent dynasties when Dristor took over. It’s population is mostly humans.
Acalia - Mostly known for it’s precious gems, beautiful landscapes, and strong armies. Acalia thrived for centuries under the rule of four different royal families, but with the recent invasion of Dristor, only two families remain to battle against the enemy. It’s population is made up almost 100% of faes.
Yalis - Mostly known for it’s spices and incredible gastronomy. With the recent invasions to their neighbor, Yalis has not moved a finger to help their centuries long commercial partner. There are no record of humans stepping on Yalis’ territory.
The unseen courts/kingdoms/clans: Groups of faes that refuse to follow the rules of their monarchs. The most famous would be the Redcapes clan, The Shadow Court and The Small People Kingdoms.
