you´re from the same country

but you came to Clover earlier than him and both of you didn´t know each other back then

you work together in the gray deer and everyone´s like ??? you two are oddly similar

there´s an inside joke about you being long lost siblings that annoys both of you to no end because that isn´t possible and would just be silly

you don´t pay each other any mind at first, going on missions together and doing nothing but work

that slowly changes when you go out drinking with everyone and realize that you two are the only ones still standing after drinking half the bar

you two bond over making fun of the others for being lightweights

since then you always go on missions together and honestly you just sync so well, you just work like each other´s shadow

honestly either one of you could ask each other out

Yami doesn´t have any problems with that, he isn´t so dense as to not know when he has a crush on someone

and you seem to like him back so that´s great

and the best thing is: he doesn´t have to fake being the clichee romantic cause he´s not

but neither are you

which is why he takes you fishing and hiking and then drinking in the evening

actually in those moments he can be quite romantic

he´s a quiet nature when he wants to be and he is always honest 

so in those moments he´ll tell you that he wants to be with you and how much you mean to him

he loves to rest his head on your lap and take a nap there, he´s just in heaven every time

you´re the only person he´ll get dressed up for

always makes sure you come with him on missions because yes he´s clingy

but neither in an obvious nor annoying way

he doesn´t want to leave you alone with the squad since he just knows you´ll lose more braincells than necessary

besides you always go on romantic dates after a mission

he sleeps like a rock and he´ll hold onto you the whole night

will tell you he loves you at the most random times but he´s always dead serious when he does

which is a funny contrast

he´s usually so aloof and chill but when it comes to your relationship he gets really serious

Milestones: Yami

Asking him out

It really depends on the situation who asks who out first. If you just can´t get through to him somehow with your feelings, it will have to be you. However if he actually has been pining for you a long time and opens up to the idea of dating it will be him. Either way it will be blunt and straight forward.

First date

You probably would go to some bar and then stroll around town while talking. It´s very simple but at the same time it´s not too distracting so that you can actually get to know each other more.

First kiss

Yami will be the one to initiate it. Once the thought crossed his mind he does everything in his power to search for you, pulls you away from the commotion for a second and goes for it. Has the nerve to go about his day afterwards as if nothing happens too.

First one Saying I love you

Yami is scared of commitment so he tries to avoid the topic for the longest time. He knows he loves you, but he shouldn´t. You shouldn´t be with him, it´s dangerous and everyone will look down on you. 

Yet when you come up to him, looking so stunning and tell him you love him, he can´t help but embrace you in a warm hug and say it right back.

Sharing a bed

He has trouble sleeping anyway and one night the members of his squad were particularly loud and he was frustrated beyond belief. So he goes to your place (or room if you´re a member too) and just flops down next to you, nuzzling his face into your neck and falling asleep. Good luck waking him up and getting him off you in the next morning.

Moving in

For some reason this isn´t such a big deal for him. If you´re not a Black Bull he will definitely ask you to let him move in with you just to get away from his squad for a while and actually get some sleep and keep some of his nerves.

Being intimate

This is so hard for Yami since he has a reputation to uphold. But even more than that it´s a foreign concept for him. He never experienced romance or intimacy so it takes him a lot to understand and adapt it.

Sharing everything

Talking about feelings, insecurities and fears isn´t something he is used to nor something he ever wanted to do. Yami really prefers to keep that shit to himself. You definitely have to take the first step there, but when you do it´s easier for him to let some things from his inner thoughts and feelings slip. He prefers if you leave those moments uncommented in the beginning and will tell you when he´s ready to actually talk about it.

Loosening up

This comes so naturally to him, he´s always joking around and having fun, so that´s really contagious. Will definitely let you in on his shenenigans and is really happy when you let your guard down in front of him.

Proposal

He doesn´t really think about it since you´re already together and he doesn´t see the point in getting married, but when you actually talk about it you decide that it´s not a bad idea. So there really wasn´t a romantic proposal or anything but it definitely was a good decision you both made.

Marriage

Asks William and Julius to help him since he doesn´t trust his squad with it (very nice captain there). Doesn´t prepare vows and just wings it (still manages to make it decent though). His squad cries so loud at the ceremony he has to yell at them every five seconds. Overall the ceremony is him keeping his squad in check.
